Just a little poll for the people here who voted for emo:
Name three or four punk bands. I'm just curious how many of you know what punk is, at it seems that some don't. (I'm not mentioning any particular names, or pointing a finger, I'm speaking generally)

emo is fuxing ghey punk all the way and if you like emo just get it over with and kill yourself like your fave band will do sooner or later

Interesting poll razz especially because me and my friend who are in a band fight over this all the time..
I personally like punk.. anything fast paced with simple guitar riffs and a good drum beat works for me... I also love when bands put a sense of humor in their songs.. which emo hardly does. My more serious friend likes emo.. I'd pick Blink 182, he'd pick Taking Back Sunday, I'd pick Green Day (please don't jump on me because they're caught in the mainstream right now wink ) and he'd pick Thursday.

I don't like either much....
But I can't really escape my sister and her emo-ness, so I'd say emo.
It's also fun to hear people complain about how their girlfriend didn't call last night. Pathetic loons.

in the first place, why the ******** would you compare emo to punk, seriously at least compare something that has things in comon emo is nothing like punk they dont sing about the same topics, they dont have the same kind of sound so its like comparing punk to rap?

i like both but like not all emo bands like my chemical romance i dont like them, i prefere screamo and stuff but i still love both pink and emo
