Lady Kotoko
Dear Bonzi,
I have the awful habit of thinking. Not just "why is the sky blue" thinking, but I am a major daydreamer. If day dreaming were a profession I'd be the president of the corporation (The Disney Theme Parks do not count xp ) The only thing about these day dreams are they're always so negetive. I'll hear something sad, or frightening, and I manage to twist it in my mind to the worst possible form and happening to me. During the day it isn't quite so bad, I find ways to distract myself, or I find people to talk to about some of these day-mares (as I call them). My biggest problem is trying to sleep. All my fears seem to be wide awake as my body attempts to rest, causing me to become slightly insomniac. Usually I can drown my thoughts beneath the sound of the television, but I'm not sure how much longer that can last. What should I do, any suggestions? Should I seek professional help?

Dear Paranoid Slumber,

Sometimes minds can be a awful. They make us believe that things are real, when they aren't. Emotions can then be kicked off, and then things get WAY out of hand.

You need to tell yourself, that these things aren't real, they are just your mind thinking things are real, when they aren't.

Its not an easy thing, but you can do it.. You just have to believe.

Dear Bonzi,

How do you get back into a group when it seems like you've been in a way cut off? And when it's your own fault anyways because you didnt stick around when you should have. When the people are the best kind of people you've ever known and now you barely ever get to talk to them... An dhow do you let them know that you still love them all so dearly?

- Cut off -

Dear Cut off,

Sometimes friends can be a touchy thing. They can be there no matter what, through thick and thin, or they can drop you like left over Chinease food. Sometimes in our lives things come up, and we can't be with our friends like we used to, or want to be. Then something can change and now you have the time or desire to be with them again.

The long and short of it is, you just have to come back around. If they are true friends, they will hug you, and welcome you back into the group, and things will continue on. Or, they could be not so good friends, and treat you like an outcast.

Either way, you just have to be around then, and get a feel of how they are going to be.

I'm sure everything will turn out fine though.

Good Luck!!!

Dear confused,

Sometimes as we grow older, the thing we used to enjoy doing are no longer appealing to us. This is just a fact of growing older. Its not necissarily a bad thing, just something that will take some getting used to. One way you can enjoy those things again, is to give them to someone who will enjoy them the same way you did. At least you can have a little more joy out of them.

Don't feel bad about it, it is just a fact of life that needs to be accepted.

Hope this helps.

Dear Bonzi,

The youngest of my brothers is getting married this weekend to the wrong girl! This girl has walked all over him, uses him for his money, broke his heart plenty of times, but he just doesn't seem to realize he's making a big mistake. We've told him plenty of times that he can do way better, but he just won't listen! He claims he's in love, but I think he's just too desperate or something. I don't think they've even known each other for more than a year and now its almost too late. What do you do without getting him so angry that he'll won't even talk to us again?

Sincerely,
Rika

Dear Rika,

If you have made your thoughts clear to your brother, there isn't much you can do. He is blinded by the light, wrapped up like a... wait, thats a song..

He is blinded by love, and there isn't much you can do, except love them. Keep your thoughts to yourself, and love them as best you can.

If she is the wrong woman, then he will see it over time. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but that is what I think you should do.

Good Luck,

Dear rukia,

Stressing over school is a normal thing. Don't worry too much about it, just push through it, and you will be fine. Question, is what your going to school for, something you enjoy. Is it something that you will enjoy doing as a carear? It needs to be, other wise the stress will carry over into the workplace, and that is no fun.

As far as quiting school, I'd say no, take a break maybe... but don't quit. If you quit and get a job or something else... it is really hard to motivate yourself to go back.

Hope this helped...

Dear Bonzi:

There's this very rare album on eBay that I'm wanting. And, I've bid pretty high thus far, and am hoping that my bid will win. In the event that I'm outbid, do you feel that I should bid even more, or just cut my losses and try elsewhere?

Sincerely,

Dear Frugal Maiden,

It depends on how valueable the album is to you. If you want it bad enough, and don't care about cost. Go as high as you can afford. Don't go into debt trying to get one album.

Good Luck,

Dear Bonzi,

I don't feel like I can go on any more. People around me talk to me all the time, but don't listen when I talk.

Nobody wants to hear what I have to say.

I screw everything up, that I try to do. Frankly I'm just tired of being me.

Is there anyway that I can become someone else?

I know that nobody will answer, but I thought I'd write anyway.

Thanks for your time,
