Maybe someone told the answer, and I just missed it. If that's the case, I apologize.
The trick to 'Test 2' is limitation and opposition. Add 2 + 2 (you get 4) Add 8 + 8 (you get 16) Add 16 + 16 (you get 32)
Now, think of a number between 12 and 5.
When you get to the last part, you're mind is already in a train-of-thought of basic mathmatics. So, since addition does work (as it would come to 17), your mind switches to subtraction, and you get 7.

'Test 3' is even simpler. People who know their computer inside and out would get 'Carrot' or 'Karat' as the 6 key has a shift character of the karat symbol.

I'm actually, kind of, curious. And, I know this may be taken offensively. But, that's not its purpose.
Viera-Chan, did you know the 'secrets' behind the tests or did you just find them somewhere and copy/paste??

So...how do you get 'carrot' out of saying 'six'?? And, although it may not be the answer you know, it does work.
And, I know it's called a karat from algebra. You have to use it for exponents (2 to the 4th power is entered '2^4' on a TI Graphic Calculator)
By the way...since you didn't argue against it, should I assume I was correct for Test 1??
