umm my friends asked if Krad was a dude or a chick, my one friend pronounced Daisuke as dye-zook, and another asked wat kind of crazy person writes from left to right.

My friend(who doesn't have a clue about anime/manga) pronounces Daisuke as Dai-suki(Dye-sue-key) XD
But I remember one time,was it in vol 8,my friend Rita called me to tell me that Gracie was at her house(cuz my friend wanted me to meet her & talk to her but instead we talked on the phone)so while were talking,my friend Rita screams & grabs the phone saying:
Rita biggrin ARK'S TURNING BLACK!!!!!!!!
Me: ........um,how come(i haven't read vol 8 at that time)*she explains the painting & all*
Me:......so........wats the point???
Rita: HE'S TURNING BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me:.....you already said that,wats the big deal?!?!?!
Gracie:..........*she's giggling*
Rita: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S TURNING BLACK!!!!!! SOON HE'S GONNA START USING WORDS LIKE 'YO' & WATSUP MY HOMIE & ALL THAT GANGSTA TALK!!!!!!!

...There's one scene in particular when Satoshi says "Whenever I think about him I start to--" Anyways, those that were at the party all bursted out laughing. It's so nasty, but it makes sense! Too funny. Now I'll never be able to read/watch it without this coming to mind. blaugh si si^^ rofl im gonna remember that one for a looong time

this isnt exactly funny but at the anime club at my school we were watching dnangel and were on the fourth episode when krad first appears. one kid said he looked like a f** and i nearly killed him. no one in dnangel looks like a f**!! evil even though i dont like krad that much...

Me: 'Kay! When this guy *points to Daisuke* sees this girl *flips through book and points to Risa*, he changes into this guy *points to volume 5 cover of Dark* and steals stuff.
Mom: Oh. So he's a bad guy?
Me: Not really...
Mom: Is it teaching you that stealing is good?!
Me: Noooo!! It's like... a public thing, he announces his heists and stuff, and the police try to catch him, but they never can!
Mom: I see... So, let me get this straight... When the little redheaded guy sees the girl he likes, he changes into the sexy bad boy with the leather jacket?

...Well it is actually.
It was intended for middle school aged girls and it's a lot like a soap opera believe it or not. But you don't have to be so defensive about it. It's okay for a guy to like a show meant for girls. You should've just brushed it off.

Well, Atlas_of_bob and I were out at a friends house for a birthday. Our friend wanted to see DNAngel, so she brought it, and myself, atlas, and a bunch of our friends sat and watched it.
There's this one guy in particular who isn't the biggest anime fan. He leaned over and asked me why Daisuke was changing and here's how the conversation went.

Dark008 Someone said DNAngel was a soap opera anime for chicks... then that someone got a fist in the face. One might suggest that somebody should take anger management classes, and possibly get a clue while they're at it. Somebody else saying something factual and very much inoffensive is anything but a legitimate reason to strike that someone. Congratulations on revealing yourself as an illiterate, unnecessarily violent person. |: Shoujo series are geared towards females, and are (in most cases) the equivalent of animated soap operas. /reiterate ( In before hambanner!
