And then he does all that research and can't come up with "Santa Claus." :p yeah, I understand the budget thing. Just a few weks before Christmas, we went to the mall and there was an entire WALL dedicated to NMBC in both Hot Topic and Suncoast. It was like, "man, I wish we actually had money..."

Suncoast had this like 4-foot Sally in their store. I asked them once how much it cost and the cashier said $250, but theirs was a display item only. They'd have to send away for a purchased one. Ah, if only we were rich... and in my case had the room to spare for such a purchase.

Yeah. Our Suncoast had their Sally's hair BRAIDED! I was like, "WHAT?!" I unbraided it when no one was lookin'. blaugh

Harls Yeah. Some of mine and Nightmare's friends and the two of us used to go around and make jokes about the movie. That was one of them. blaugh wink My favorite one was when Lock, SHock, and Barrel were pushing Santa Claus down the pipe...and then we said that Shock had a great baseball swing. :p

NMBC is simply my favorite movie ever. We bought the vhs when I was little and I got the special addition dvd for my birthday last year. I love the characters, and they whole experience.
I was Sally for Halloween this year. ( I sat infront of my tv watching the scenes with sally in them over and over, doing sketches just so I could get the dress right.) I sewed the entire thing myself.
I watch it habitually and bought the soundtrack a couple years ago.
This year for x-mas NMBC paraphanelia was all I asked for.
My favorite characters are Lock, Shock, Barrel, Jack, Sally, and Oogie Boogie. I can't pick a favorite song, I love them all!
I SIMPLY ADORE IT!!!!

Danny Elfman also did the voice and song for barrel, as well as the CLown with the Tear-Away Face. He is most famous, however, for writing the movie's score and lyrics. Did you know the songs were written before the actual script?

Have you seen the deleted scenes? They should have left the "Lock, Shock, and Barrel" one in the movie!
