Tigerfive, is the memory card in question a third party brand or Sony?
Though, My roommate once wanted to play one of his FFX saves, but it and a few others vanished... I forget which memory card it was on since he has one Sony and one 3rd party...
As for you Mahaahmavis, give your parents reason to believe you are in more need than your brother... Do what that one guy in "Just Shoot Me" did and fake an accident that causes you to become "retarded."
Of course you can always hire someone to break into your house then steal/break all of the compies. Then have them format one of them and have that formatted one given to you, and say a friend got a new compy and is giving you the old one.
I'm just throwing out ideas... All of which ultimately unreasonable, but if yo were determined, you could make the work.

it's not just me, right?
I got lost almost as soon as i started playing Final Fantasy 1, when they tell your warriors to go awaken something.
or was it that they were asking for you to find something?
anyway right after the first event of the game, when you save a princess, and you are given some sort of insturment. A harp or lute...
