Nakago - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -::Kigen was taken aback by her response. Back in his world...no one questioned a soldier unless they had a death with or a warrant from higher powers...or...Powers. Having guised himself in the police officer's uniform, he was a bit thrown off by her attitude. He didn't take into account that his lng hair was by no means allowed int he police force...one as powerful as he was doesnt have to watch out for such things... Was that it? Was she confident enough of her stolen power that she too would challenge him? And to make matters worse...he could feel the power he had since escaped from moving towards them...slightly...but enough to warrant his attention She had him on the defensive...Was she coming to "finish the job?".::
'Sh*t, what have I gotten myself into...'
::Clearing his throa, still playing off in soldier fasiont:: "Perhaps, just doing my duty. I should be asking the same question of you..." "Doing your duty?" she enquired skeptically and glanced at his leg again, the smell of blood was strong within the air and her nostrils flared somewhat at the scent but she resisted the temptation to launch towards him in a similar fashion to a rabid dog. Besides, she had not even discovered who he really was yet and why he possessed such powers that resembled her own in source.
"You should clean that up you know," she added smoothly and motioned to his leg before motioning to a somewhat battered bench set against a shadowed wall. Despite her peculiar attitude she did have a little initiative and she knew that if that was not washed up in a least a little while...she may cause an unwarranted amount of damage to an injured being...not very honourable, she preferred a chase.
"Sit down, we'll clean this up." She murmured and glanced around briefly, almost warily before nodding to herself and fishing in her coat. Strangely enough, she withdrew what appeared to be large plasters from her coat pocket and waved them from side to side slowly, "It'll avoid infection." She added as an after thought...personally, the idea of puss seeping from a wound did not exactly appeal to her.
Strange though, she hadn't answered his question...

arsenicjunkie Jun'ko stepped outside and closed the door behind her, taking a slow, deep breath. She sat down right there on her doorstep, raking her hands through her hair. Jun'ko leaned back, taking a deep breath and stood up abruptly. She leaned down to stretch and minutes later, left the house far behind as she jogged down the street and turned the corner. Suddenly, Jun'ko felt the pulling feeling in her gut once more. It was pulling her down the street. She turned and ran the other direction as fast and long as she could before collapsing on the ground, breathing heavily but glad at least that she was far away from whatever the feeling was and the man that provoked it.

"Hunting," she replied simply as she dropped to her knees and lifted the trouser leg up to examine the wound, removing the bandages bit by bit to give minimal discomfort, she seemed to have a gentle touch in that regard though why would be a completely different matter.
In truth her nostril's flared and her mouth watered at the prospect of life, human flesh but she quickly pushed the idea from her mind and tore the bandage into small pieces, taking the bottle of water from her seemingly bottomless pocket and pouring it onto the wound, she did this until it became red raw and indicated it was clean before ripping up a clean bandage and setting it across the wound like a gauze before surrounding it in yet another bandage.
She was soon finished and the surprisingly neat dressing was soon covered by his trouser leg once more, "And you should have shot the dog," she pointed out smoothly and motioned to his hip, "As a soldier you DO have a gun, right?" she enquired with an arched brow as she rose to her feet again and tightened the bottle cap, her lips pursing as she kept her gaze upon him.
She simply could not distinguish who he was, nor why the tattoo on her back burned so furiously when close to him...it was reaching the point of becoming unbearable.

Ameko no Mori "Apologies, I have not mentioned. Unfortunately, I cannot say its name. For, we do not refer to ourselves as a land, but as a people, and our word for ourselves means "the people." I'm sure you have not heard of the "Upuru" tribes, for we are a small culture to the West." she says. She'd thought it over, slightly, and figured it in her head a while ago. It would work, she assumed. An unique, if overly evasive answer. Surely every part of this world is named, by it's locals or by others. Man has a habit of naming everyting. Now this militant girl says her home has no name? Yeah right. Taking special notice of the name "Upuru" for later research, Charles keeps up his facade.
"Upuru, huh? Well, I suppose I have heard of stranger things. How is it you came to me? I mean, the pull I felt to you went away after a few blocks- and I would remember local customs or people involving such a strange name."

"I suppose one could say I was wandering. Yet I am glad that I had sensed your energy. In fact, I came to this land merely because of myself. I did not know that there would be such a pull in this land which I have travelled to. Perhaps the great gods have arranged our meeting," she says, her face still cold, but a smile almost appearing, or at least evident in her eyes.

It was not that unusual to be hunting late, back where he came from at least, though the women did not normally do the hunting, nor did they do it in the towns, cities etc. He gave her an inquisitive look and marveled at her ability concerning his wound. She was taking care of this with care of a doctor. He smirked however, in spite of himself when she mentined shooting the dog. He patted the gun in the holster attached to his hip as if he knew it was what she was talking about...it was in the spot where she had indicated, so he felt confident enough. He would have to learn more about it later::

::He chuckled as he recalled sending the dog into oblivion, then moved his leg slightly and turned to face her::
"And what....If I may inquire...does one hunt at a time like this...in an area such as this?..."

Her eyes narrowed briefly in suspicion and then after a small moment she sat down again and crossed her legs, falling into silence as she stared straight ahead of her.
Almost instantly, from one of the alleys a man stumbled, obviously drunk and unable to comprehend where he was he would be an easy target, but still she resisted the urge and motioned to him with a slight flick of her wrist, "That," she replied coolly, refraining from elaborating as she turned to examine her fingernails, well cared for and obviously one of her pride and joys.
"So, you got a name or what?" she enquired.

Then again, she does seem to be a complete stranger to this area. Regardless of where she is from, perhaps he is being too hard on her. Still trying to play the part of a concerned Seishi, Charles/Chichiri finds that less and less of it is an act. Almost as if there is an indellible draw to be friends with this girl, as tangible and real as the pull of the mark of Suzaku.
"Perhaps. Who knows why you came here instead of somewhere else. Even counting that, there are still at least six of us left to find. Who knows- perhaps they are in the city." Looking ahead with concern, he mumbles almost rhetorically. "I hope we get together before trouble hits. What if there are equal groups for Seiryu out there . . . if that warlike bunch get together while we are fragmented, we are dead."

"Seiryu will not attack," she said. It would seem that her tongue had slipped, yet she knew what she was saying. "There is as much honor amongst them as there is amongst ourselves. I am sure they wish to defeat us fairly, am I right?"
