well aparently there has been dissapearences in the town. there is already a celestial stationed there, but he cannot protect the people there while trying to find the missing people as well. so he requested help... pretty simple request if you ask me ... i will contact this person and see if they still need some assistance. * he flips through the folder to find the contact information.*

Seraphina shook her head. "I can't believe that didn't even consider such a request" she replied, her words sonding like a growl. "I will never understand why they let things get so bad" she continued, her anger and frustration toward the council growing.

i understand your displeasure with them ... but we must remain calm about this ... we are now the ones to make the examples and lay down the laws among our people ... * he sighs* although it is a great responcibility ... we have to be willing to accept this task.

"I never said that I wasn't willing to accept the task" she replied coldly, moving her eyes away from him. Her eyes remained away from him as she continued to speak. "I doubt that the coven will welcome me example" she said with a dry laugh.

Seraphina merely shrugged. "You give me to much credit" she replied dryly, shaking her head. "I have heard the hushed whisperings in the corridors" she continued, her eyes focused upon thin air, "I know how they feel about my associations".

hmmm i have never noticed .... * he lowers his head* well that will soon change ... as far as i am concerned ... we will pass a law to state that love knows no boundries ... meaning that we are free to be with whomever we wish regardless of race * he nods *

"To little to late" Seraphina muttered, lowering her eyes. She could feel the tears began to burn once more. A small growl passed her lips as she wiped them away. Even after the passing of a few centuries it was surprising how fresh the pain she felt still was. Her dreams were still haunted by memories of him, and they seemed to be ever encroaching in her waking life as well.

Seraphina shrugged away from his touch, standing to her feet and walking several paces from him. "What would you know of love?" she replied, suddenly on the defensive, "I don't think I have ever seen you love"

* he shakes his head* of course you wouldnt ...i am older then you after all ... and i have loved before ... i fell in love with a celestial ... and she was destroyed in the war ... the demons tore her appart before my eyes ... we were to be joined ... * he lowers his head. it seams that even after all these years he still holds feelings for his lost love*

Seraphina lowered her eyes as he spoke, her defenses lowering. "I'm sorry" she whispered, "I didn't know about her". She suddenly felt guilty that she had been so quick to accuse him of not knowing what it had been like for her.

Seraphina merely nodded, wondering within herself whether she would ever be able to love anyone as much as she loved Logan. It had been centuries and the pain had only seemed to grow. She could still remember vividly, his ebony locks and piercing emerald eyes, could still remember the feeling of his skin upon hers. She shook the memories away, not wanting to dwell upon them at the present time. "So what shall be the first order of business?" she asked, wanting to change the subject.

* Malek flys to the celestial palace. it has been many years sense he had been here. he didnt exactly leave on good terms when he left the last time. havent been quite upset with the previous council and thier constant enforcement of regection of him because of his demon side. he retracted his wings and walked into the palace.*
