When did Snake whine? Oh that's right, he never did. That's in Raiden's repertoire.

Meryl broke out of her cell, beat up Johnny Sasaki and stole his uniform; helped Snake shoot up some guards, opened the big door to the entrance of the snow field so Snake could get to the Nuclear Warhead Storage Building; caught Snake off guard twice, gave him the LV. 4 and PAL card keys, and pointed out where the mines where in that room.... then she got shot. And when she got shot, she selflessly told Snake to forget about her, and complete the mission. You make it sound as if she was just some whiny and completely helpless damsel in distress, which is not quite the case. Meryl did do some things, and she did help out a little bit.

Rose didn't do much of anything, besides nag Raiden and save his game.

My comment is that Raiden is a little douchebag, and I really hated him. I didn't skip through anything in MGS2 because I wanted to understand the story, and his girlfriend was just one of the many things I hated about him.

Meryl internalized a little bit more than I would have liked her to, but I could stomach her. I can't stomach Raiden or Rose; they both annoyed me and whined 10 times worse.

Spectrus, I swear that if you cause anymore trouble in this thread, it will be locked. Also, it's not cool to tell people to shut up like that. Plus, blaming one person for something when it was both of your faults is lame.

I do not need to calm down. You are the one that needs to. I put that in big, bold, red, capital letters to make sure you saw it so you would know not to do that outside the chat room.

I could care less if you know each other in real life, I could care less if it was just kidding around, all I know is that it looked like fighting. And fighting is not tolerated by me, and I'm pretty sure not be Akhilles. To me, fighting takes up valuable post space, and it makes threads cluttered.

I gave you a warning. Next time, me or which ever mod/admin catches you, they might not be so lenient.

Go ahead and state your opinion. I'm not against that. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I have a huge sense of humor. It's just, I'd like to keep this guild running smoothly since the owner isn't really here too often.

But having a sense of humor doesn't have anything to do with the last page or so of this thread.

Although his bickering with Rose and his little love speeches where a little bit on the feminine side I thought Raiden was a pretty slick character with all his flips and Ninja like moves. I liked the ninja style as it goes well with the Stealthy game.

I still however prefer Solid Snake but i think if Raiden was the main character in the first game people would prefer him over Snake. Its just a case of people used to Snake.
