Hogwarts had seen quite the drama. Albeit, this situation would probabaly remain unknown by most of the Castle's inhabitants. "Oh, my," said Chad, trying to analyse what had just been unloaded upon him. One thing about the situation, however, stood out as rather puzzling. And so, he began there. "But... isn't Draco... with Alair?" Last Chad had been told, Draco and Alair were a happy couple. I'm so out of the loop. "Hm. And I wouldn't have thought Kiri'd be too keen on you kissing her brother's mate." Goodness. This is complicated. "Mind explaining the whole... cycle of emotions that went through your mind as this unfolded? And. How was it that Draco wanted a kiss from you?"

Dom sighed and stared back into fire. "Apparently, they had a 'falling out.' And I quote Draco there. And I think Kiri was more upset about the fact that we were like talking about relationships not 30 minutes before she saw me kissing Draco." She chuckled slightly. "Emotions? I went from surprise, to thinking 'Damn, Draco's a good kisser', to angry, to pretty much emotionless. And how could he want a kiss from me? I have no clue."

"A falling out? You don't say..." Chad couldn't think of any reason for the realtionship to come to such a sudden halt. "Oh, and Kiri. That sounds absolutely appauling... I mean, no offence to you. It sounds like things were going so well between you, though." He paused, thinking about Dom's involement in all this. "Which, makes me wonder, why did you let him kiss you?"

Domini finally lifted her gaze from the flickering fire to look at him. The question had occured to her as well. And she still didn't have an honest answer. But she could at least try. "I guess I let him because," She paused. "Because I...wanted to remember what it felt like. He's kissed me once before, in sixth year."

Chad thought in silence. What a puzzling young lady. "So. Let me get this straight. You had a brief encounter with a woman earlier today. And then a man, who has been known as an open homosexual asks to kiss you. And you let him. Are you really that popular?" he asked, jokingly. "Wait, if you and Draco have a 'history' together, does that mean he isn't gay, afterall?"

She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them, wrapping her arms around her calves. "I really don't know anymore. And it was that much of a history. We were walking up to Rain's party that she threw and he just suddenly decided to kiss me. It was the weirdest thing. But this time he actually asked, so that's even weirder."

"Hm. That really does sound strange." Chad paused, bringing himself to rest further back in the chair. "Do you think he might harbour certain feelings for you? Feelings that have never gone away? And... Alair... he must be devastated... poor chap." Chad shook his head, not knowing what to make of the situation. My, has it been an interesting day.

Domini chuckled. "I don't think it's possible for him to harbour feelings for me. Well, he might, but the prospect of sharing a girl with Kiri probably makes him sick, not that's there's anything between me and Kiri." Her eyes widened. "Of course! That's why Alair looked almost like he'd been drinking." She paused, then quickly explained herself. "When I was with Kiri, Alair came up, looking absolutely horrible. It must've happen then, so maybe, an hour ago."

Chad smiled at the supposed "non-intricacy" of the situation. Then, he frowned suddenly. Alair really must have been crushed. He seemed rather innocent, a truly nice fellow. "I don't see how this could have happened... I am utterly confused right now." He paused, rising to his feet out of the chair. "Anyways, far be it for me to pry - anymore than I have already. If there's anything you want to discuss, you can find me anytime. Otherwise, I'll be carrying on with my... less dramatic professorial duties." He smiled at her, trying to lift the severity of the day's events.

Domini looked up at him in slight surprise. "You don't have to go, but if you want to, feel free. You always seem to be around when comfort is needed, or I just want someone to talk to. And you never pryed. You merely asked a question and I chose to answer you of my own voilition, here as well as in the greenhouse." She smirked slightly and cocked her head. "Why is it that you seem to be near whenever confusion or despair strikes me?"

Chad smiled at the thought of being of help to his colleague. "Hm. I'm not sure, but I'm glad to have been able to help. I really must be off to check on my new little house elf. Perhaps you can meet Dainty sometime, she really is charming." Walking to the door, he turned back to Dom. "Anyways, I've got to be off. It's been nice talking to you, Dom. See you soon." With that, he exited, a smile on his face.
