Nick caught her and prevented her from falling. "You won't cause harm to me. The station is only a block away. From there, we go straight into the Loyalist base, and I will get you to the medical center we have. You need rest."

She looked carefully at Nick and decided. "I will go, but you need to know. I have killed some of your men before. It was purely in defense of others, but I might be recognized if you know what I mean. I don't want to cause too much trouble."

Nick nodded, picking her up and slinging one of her arms around his shoulders so she wouldn't fall, walking out the door. "You shouldn't worry. I'm only making my first platoon change now, in this sector. Unless you were here, no one at the base will know you. That said, you'll be under guard."
He walked out the door, supporting her against his left side, his right hand ready in case they were surprised.

"Thanks. Why are you so different from the others? The ones I always run across are corrupted and cruel."

((Sorry I've been gone a while... Just got accepted to Ria High and am trying to make a good impression on my first day sweatdrop And Alyssa, I think you might like that guild wink ))
Alora stood quietly in a corner of the room, listening to what the three were talking about. Loyalists, Order of God, war and blood shed. It was all confusing her. So much had happened to her in the past month, and now all this. It was overwhelming.

Nick's eyes widened as he crossed the street. "What area were you in? I know this sector has been giving trouble for a while, and I'm going to do major reassignments, but if this is in more places...I need to check on that."
He arrived at the train station grate, nodding to the guards. He punched his code and the grate slid up, allowing him to enter. "Really...tell me what's been happening. If I know, I can stop it. I try to uphold what used to be the law, and help others...the rule we have is to kill when necessary. If it is at allpossible, we have to attempt capture. If we cannot capture someone or force a retreat without killing, then we kill." The grate slid back down as Nick mounted the escalator, pressing the rewired emergency stop to set the escalator in motion.

"All I can tell you is that all over the city there are people trying to kidnap citizens or rob them of something or other. I don't usually ask questions." Kaonna leaned slightly less on Nick as they walked on.

The train waited for them on the westbound platform, doors open. Nick helped Kaonna board, allowing her to sit near the front, while Nick sat at the front seat and worked the simple controls, pressing down a red button and pushing a lever forward, which started the train moving as well as automatically closing the doors. "I heard of that in this sector, so I am reassigning the platoon to base duty because they're part of those people. But has it happened to you anywhere else...? Give me some examples, and I can point the sectors."

He nodded as the train passed through another station, curving left past a small building with a large sphere on top and offering a view of the twin stadiums; one large with a white domed roof, the other considerably smaller with a flat gray roof. "Ah. Are there any landmarks you can remember? The city is full of them...the large freestanding sign over what used to be a toy store, the stadiums, that sphere we just passed...I know the city allt oo well, I'm afraid."

"My um...well, someone I know lived by that toy store. Not too far away. That's one spot at least." Kaonna tried to block the painful memories from her mind and tried concentrating on the city and the corruptness within it.

Nick nodded. "Sector four...been hearing a lot from there as well." The train passed under two bridges, once brimming with traffic, now empty, and through another station close to the stadiums and a high rise building, before entering the underground portion. "We're almost there."

Kaonna looked around. She recognized the stadiums. Her father had worked nearby. "The loyalist base. That's what they're looking for. The Order that is. I have to get off."

(eeeeeevil people! >.< she left wihtout me saying anything! i had to go whyd you let that happen >__< oh well. might as well work from where i can) Ginseku saw that Nick obviously wanted to take her, and let him. If she wanted to go of her own free will, he had no right to try and stop her. He waved goodbye to them. Then turned around. And looked at Alora. "Well, they're on their way I guess. Again Alora, i'm sorry for bringing these events into your household." He bowed in apology. "I think we should sleep now. By the way, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like to stay and help you out tommorrow in the shop. It's the least I could do." He smiled happily.
