Angel was flabbergasted when she saw what was happening to Rita. Oh my god..What have i done? She looked at the other occupants in the Coffee House, all of them also had a Angel-you-are-in-hot-soup kind of look.
"Rita!!!" Angel called out helplessly. "I didn't mean to do it. I was only going to turn this table into a chicken. Guess the spell backfired." She shrugged innocently and hoped that Rita would stop that annoying clucking.

After about 12 hours the spell wore off and Rita went back to her seat and wondered why everyone was staring at her.

That's odd says Rita. My hot chocolate looks like it's been sitting here for a day. She looks at her watch and sees that it is am instead of pm. What is going on? How did I lose 12 hours?!?

How time flies..i have been here for 12 hours already..and nothing exciting has happened except Rita's unfortunate incident." Angel got up from her seat and went to get another cup of hot chocolate and returned to her own seat. "No idea Rita, time really flies when one is having fun." Angel grinned and stirred her hot chocolate.

Lucky wanders in from a long night at the bar with a weary look on her face as she plops into her favorite over sized chair.
Wow, what a long night!
Oh, what do you guys think of this hairdo? I can't decide if I want to keep it or go back to the spiky one. Hmmmm
I know that Groovy changes her hair around all the time, that must get expensive at 250g a pop! *boggles*

Shira walks in and gets a tall mug and goes over to the expresso machine and pours herself a double. She takes a swallow and exclaims, just what I needed to wake me up.
She scans the room to see who is here this early in the morning. She doesn't see anyone she knows yet and decides to strike up a conversation with the cute geeky guy sitting at a table and staring at his laptop.

Seeing that Rita was back to her usual cheery ol' self, Angel heaved a sigh of relief and sipped her nearly-cold coffee. The Coffee House went back to its own stillness and quietness.
Angel looked at her wand, which was not its old self, it was glowing. Glowing? Now..what is happening? She tried to shield the blinding light away from her eyes but the light was just too bright. "Grr..the coffee house isn't suffering from any blackouts. Why are you igniting up?" Angel moaned at her stubborn wand.

Rita glances up as she hears a strange buzzing sort of sound. She looks over at Angel and notices she is carrying a wand that is glowing and buzzing. She excuses herself and goes over to Angel. Do you need any help? It seems your wand is trying to take over.

Angel nodded bashfully and moaned stupidly to Rita. "Would you help me? My wand is not listening to me. It seems to have a mind of its own." She glanced at her wand and tried to stuff it in her bag, but a strong invisible force prevented her from doing so. Oookk..this is getting freaky now. Angel's wand made matters worse by emitting bright red sparks and it was still glowing, but this time even brighter.

Uh oh! Errmm, I would drop it if I was you Angel. The wand looks like it may explode. Rita backs slowly away from Angel and the wand. For some reason, she is seeing flashbacks of herself as a chicken?!?

....wanders in, looks at all the dust collecting on the tables and thinks perhaps this place needs to ADVERTISE. blaugh
Well, I would LOVE a caramel frap w/Xtra whip cream. I'll just make one myself and enjoy the quiet.
......I 'might' have a job. I have an interview at 10:30AM Friday. It's a followup interview for a clerical position w/Gulf Coast treatment center's Juvenile Behavioral Center. (wow that's a mouthful). *sigh* We'll see. everybody cross your fingers. whee
