tara was so cool and it was retarted that her and willow had just got back together then she dies! then kennedycomes in and to be honest Kennedy was a b***h there short sweet and to the point i hated that little brat and wished for her death in the final episode but they killed anya and spike instead!! stressed mad

personally i think that kennedy is a vindictive little spoiled whore and that she just wanted to ******** the nearest available lesbian. If tara was there she would have found someone else to screw.

yeah, i didn't like Kennedy any more than you did and I hated to see Anya and Spike die, but I know that if they'd have killed Kennedy, then it would be like Willow had to lose two girlfriends. I think that, at the end, she would have been so sad (and we've seen how Willow deals with sad. She gets MAD!) and the ending of the show wouldn't have been that happy of an ending.

I miss Tara so much, I never really got over her death because I was deeply emotionally involved in their relationship, they were the only lesbian couple I knew on TV that I could associate with, was well acted, and (even being witches) was very realistic... more realistic than anything on the L Word.

I cry everytime I see the blue shirt scene in a music video, I get music video songs stuck in my head and they eat away at me.

>.> I own the Willow and Tara Together Forever action figure set... [nerd]

And I'm very mad Joss Whedon abandoned the idea to bring her back in Season 7, which would have made interesting dynamics with Kennedy in the mix. [The prissy b***h would not have any chance with Tara there] I'm actually working on a fanfic based on the idea. It's called Unused and it's at extraflamey.com

Yeah, I totaly agree. I wrote a very upset LJ post that night cussing at Joss. I know he'll never know, and I don't care. It made me feel better. I never thought about the reserection fanfic angle though. I just skiped that episode in my universe. It does pose an interesting point though. Willow and Kenedy are together, Tara comes back and finds out and she's all torn between being hurt that Willow moved on to another girl (especially a younger (snotier) little thing) and being glad that Wills wasn't morning her forever and wasting her life. Which leaves Will trying to explain that Kenedy was more rebound sex than anything, and Kenedy is totaly confused and doesn't know where she stands.... WOW, I'm ging to have to work this one out. I just got a FF.net account, and I'm going to put it to good use^^

neutral He didn't exactly abandon the idea to bring her back…he had planned to bring her back as one of the first...but Amber Benson refused because she didn't want Tara's character to be viewed as bad...she had meant so much to people and that might have ruined her character for them....

I heard this on an interview, here's the site-http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/buffy/interviews/benson2003_clips/clip3.shtml

That was a different idea. This was a different one:

“In one of the final episodes, the third to last episode, Buffy was going to basically get a ‘get out of jail free’ card. One completely reality-altering things that she could have - she could bring Angel back to her, she could do anything she wanted. At the end of the episode she basically comes to Willow and says ‘Look at these shoes I got!’ and Willow’s, like, ‘What?’ ‘I got these really awesome shoes. I wanted them, and now I have them!’ and Willow’s like ‘You… used… the wish… for shoes?’ and Buffy says ‘Of course not, you idiot,’ and walks out of the room and Willow turns around and Tara’s standing behind her.” -Joss Whedon

That would absolutely rock. I was working on a fictional story, myself, and it was bringing Tara back. It just wasn't the same way.

I would've loved that idea. It would've been better than rushing Kennedy on in, and getting people to almost hate the last season.
