"You say you don't know your true name, but you call yourself Ariphael?" He grinned, though his blue eyes remained puzzled. "And why do I insist on helping you? Well, becase that's my job, in this God forsaken place." He grimince. "I don't enjoy it here, because it's really a punishment, but it's home." He started to draw a few scribbles in the dirt as his wings folded back against his thin body. "Anyway, ya, I find lost people in my desert, and basically look after them until they decide they wanna go home." He grinned. But when she asked her second question, he became deadly serious. "I dunno, you seem familar too..."
Suddenly, a horrified scream spilt the air. Azriphael gasped. "Alfred!" Suddenly, she jumped up, and almost jumped off the edge of the cliff face to reach the ground. Bubadoom sprung to his feet, and grabbed the back of her shirt, reeling her in. "Hold on!" he shouted at her. "Who's Alfred?!"
There was another scream, and Bubadoom frowned. Suddenly, he scooped Azriphael up into his spindly arms, and raising his great wings, leaped off the cliff, and spirraled down towards the shelter below.

After about 5 minutes into Azriphael singing, the painful spasums started to become irregular, and much less panful. Alfred held onto the words, even though he couldn't decifer them, like a life line. It was all that was holding him from dipping deep into the rotting world that unfolded before his eyes. Memories acted out before him; at one point, he even saw himself, but a few feet away, reenactin a painful point in his life. It unnerved him, seeing himself and the horrible things that kept trying to rip his stomach open, slash his face off, or break all his bones etc etc.
After a while, he seemed to see a strange clear, sky-blue light pulse across the sky. It had an eerie way in that it seemed to have a mind of it's own. By looking at it, he found that he could almost block out the images that kept appearing in front of him, and felt strangely... disembodied, or something.
Suddenly, the light dived straight down, so close to the ground that it made him nausious to watch - though he was already feeling sick. The light scimmed across the ground, and through the haze he thought he saw something white and feathery, and gold glint. After a minute or to, the light rapidly rose up, getting closer and closer. And then it passed over head. Azriphael's singing stopped, to be replaced my muted crys, drowned out by the beasts in front of him.
............
Somehow, Alfred new that he probably wasn't going to survive until morning.

Bubadoom grabbed me around the waist and flung himself into the air. i couldnt help myself and i screamed. i screamed my fricken head off. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! we flung down the rocks and down into the shelter. bubadoom was used to it and could stand up strait away, but i was another deal. i had to wait a few seconds. al looked up at us, tried to smile then vomited on himself. ewww. fairy gave us a nervous glance then looked to al who had just passed out in his own vomit. gross.bubadoom walked around me and introduced himself to fairy. fairy blushed. she seems to have never met a man. or she just fell in love...i can tell which one but ill let you figure it out. i wonder how she'll be when she finds out hes not human...oh dear...

Al gasped as there was huge commotion. A woman screamed - Azriphael! - and then there was a wooshing sorta noise. Alfred watch in stupid wonder as a tall creature actually FLEW down on white feathery wings. His torso and arms were wrapped in old looking bandages, and around his neck glittered a wide, Egyptian style collar, studded with rubys and sapphires, gold and silver plaiting inbetween. A anhk, suspended on a long, thin strand dangled down to his waist. His flaming hair hung across his goodnatured, goodlooking face, which was dark, like he was heavily tanned. The white wings folded back against his body as the man chewed his bottom lip, looking at Alfred. His eyes were a penitrating aqua blue. Alfred tried to say something, but bile rose to his mouth as he vomited violently. The last thing he saw was Azriphael as his vision quickly dimmed. Her face was perfect, no disfiguring scars, missing eyeballs or sewn up lips. The same was with the redheaded man; both emitted strange auras, the mans light blue, Azriphael's a muted red. His last thought was "He's an angel....."
And then there was nothing.

later that day bubadoom asked to talk to me alone as fairy was tending to al. "tell me about yourself. im interested." bubadoom smiled. "well i was found my my "parents" at an egyptian temple of Anubis. after that i grew up like a normal kid." bubadoom frowned."so you dont know." "know what?"

Bubadoom waved a hand, putting on his usually, bashful look, eyes wide and lips smiling. "Doesn't matter. When you need to know, you'll know." He decided to change the subject, and wisely too. He had noticed that Azriphael was paying a lot of attentsion to the hallucenating Alfred. Alfred was a strange character. He seemed to be in some sort of shock, a bit like a semi-coma. He responded only halfheartedly, and stupidly at that, like some kind of retarded person. Bubadoom had checked him out after he had found them. Alfred had been poisoned somehow, probably by a dangerous snake or scorpian. Bubadoom had eased the pain, and taken away most of the things that Alfred must have been seeing. He suddered inwardly as he remember the things Alfred would rant about. He had tried to heal his body and mind as much as he could on the spot. He new that soon he would have to take Alfred and the others back to his home to get proper treatment.
"Do you know what happened to Alfred? Anything out of the ordinary?" He cocked his head, glassy eyed, letting his furry animal ears shift to one side, the way a dog stares at food. "How long have you known him anyhow?"

i stare down at al, his body squirming and writhing around on the floor. suddenly i realise bubadoom was saying something. "oh, i, er, have known him since...today." i coughed. i expected him to laugh but he didn't. he frowned. "that is strange. there is a very strong bond between you two... such a bond i have rarely seen...even with married couples...." hey, wait a minute! what don't i know about? he seemed happy to change the subject! he came to talk about it so why aren't we??? "what were you going to say before?" bubadoom seemed lost in thought but still looked up. "nothing." he said. What? nothing? well why is he soo upset then? i was so angry i shook him like a rag doll until he started to talk. "ok ill tell you..."

Bubadoom watched from the corner of his clear blue eyes as Azriphael looked down at Alfred, whom seemed to be having a nightmare. There was something in her eyes which made a smile flicker across his lips.
"O, I, uh, I've only known him since today..." Her cheeks flushed red as she gave an embaresed cough, glancing at him. He put on a frowning expression, though his lips still twitched. Inspecting his blackish nails, he commented slyly, "That's strange, there seems to be a very close... how should I put this... "bond" between you. A bond you don't see everyday. A bond even some married couples don't have."
Her pretty face suddenly clouded over, her brows contracted. For a moment, Bubadoom was afraid he had gone too far. But then she looked up, her open face showing anger. "What where you going to say just then?"
Inwardly, his mind said, "Uh oh." He looked down for a moment, trying to find an excuse to wiggle out of. Sadly, finding none, he looked up right into her eyes, and boldly said, "Nothing."
Azriphael almost snarled at him. Suddenly, her hands snaked out, and grabbed hold of the bandages that were rapped around his torso. He gasped, taken completly by supprise as she actually shook him violently back and forth, hissing at him, "TELL ME!" The pink hair younger woman jumped up from Alfred's side, shouting something over the din. Bubadoom had to yell, "NOT THE FUR!!!" three times before Azriphael stopped, and losened her grib on the bandages, and underneath, the soft downy fur that covered his torso. "Tell me then!"
Bubadoom held up his hands, bangles jangling. "Ok, ok, I surrender!" His mind whirled around. It was a risk to tell her. But suppose she could use her skills to help Alfred? She could be a powerful ally. "I was... Uh... I think I know why I seem so familier to you... Ditto for me... Uh, are you sure you wanna know?" He scratched the back of his head neviously.

"Would you two stop fighting and come and help me clean up Alfred while he's passed out, please?!?!?"yelled fairy. they took no notice. "GET UR FRICKING BUTS OVER HERE AND HELP ME GET ALFRED CLEANED UP!!!!! NOW!!!!! fairy screached. Bubbadoom and Azraphial both jumped.

Azzie looked over to fairy with shocked eyes, "i'm sorry fairy, i just wanted to find out about my parents, my life that i missed..." Azzie diverted her eyes to the ground. Bubadoom looked at fairy as if to say, " please give us a few seconds." Fairy nodded and stepped back.
