A white dragon flew in the cliffs, and a short, brown haired girl dismounted. She wore brown runner riding pants, with a plain white shirt. She felt comfortable now in the weyr, and she knew exactly where to go for everything. Her two flitts were wrapped about her neck.
"Isn't it nice being able to go aroud without us having to take anybody anywhere Juobeth?"
Very nice, I love the break. It's nice to relax every now and then. I'm gonna go sun.
"Have a nice time." She watched the dragon lift off to a small cliff, one of the flits followed, the brown, silly thing. She walked to the weyr walking the people go by.

Liana blushed. "Oh, um, I do apologize. C'rim, you said it was?" She attempted to smile. "Maybe we can have a bite together?" She really should get to know the other riders.

August came up from the tunnels of the Weyr covered with filth and grime. Snaking had never and would never be one of his favorite past times. Brushing off what he could of the dirt, August grimced in discuss and headed to his bunk to grab a clean set of clothing before going to wash up.

His tactics and "witty" reply had caught him off guard as Piroth swept underneath and nipped at his tail. Yelping with a low bellow, Zalenth's eyes churned faster as the playful nature and antics intensified.

How I've missed our "playtime", he chuckled as he tucked his wings close to his body and dove in the persuit of the scarlet. A newfound adrenaline and the instincts to be with her consumed him. Zalenth had been away from home for so long and to be back with the one he loved made his heart race! He was home...and he was with Piroth!

Sweeping upwards, the brown-white dragon spiraled and rolled within the boundless skies as he narrowed his sights towards the female.

Where are we headed, love?

Walking aside Necia as her hand still wrapped tightly around her, Stryder laughed and shook her head. "So I take it you have already arranged some plans for the day I got back, huh?" Tipping up her riders' helmet, the brown-white dragonrider grinned.

"Kai! Oh, I haven't seen her since the day I left! Maybe after Klah and a bit of sweet rolls we can surprise her?"

Stepping up lightly toward the steps that led to the doors of the Weyr, Stryder gasped softly as she began slowly to approach them.

So many memories...Oh, it felt like yesterday when she had first come to Shining Heights as a new transferr rider! But, to her, Shining Heights Wery was her home; her only home.

"The Weyr's changed a bit," she remarked as she reached outwards and clasped onto the steel handle of the door. "What's happned?"

"So much." Necia sighed. "Kai and S'tesch have been courting for years, but... things have gotten hard. They have more rough spots than smooth at this point. I'm worried that when Regalth finally Flies things will only be worse."

Steering Stry towards the kitchens, she sighed softly. "Let's get some food and retire to my room; we can be more comfortable there. It'll give us a chance to catch up on more than words, hm?" She grinned slightly.

Whereever we can! Where the wind blows! Piroth crowed back, bugling her laughter. How about the other end of the Weyr? Most dragons will be sunning closer to their own Weyrs, so it should be mostly deserted; perfect for us.

"Three turns," Stryder muttered as she slowly meandered inside the kitchens, "I should have never left. I've missed so much."

Remorse. Grief. Sadness.

If only Stryder hadn't been transferred to Benden to fight Thread then life would have been much smoother but, now, it seemed that she'd have to learn how to jump back into Weyrlife at Shining Heights and mend the ties that had been broken. She had lost connection with so many but now was the time that she could rekindle the lost emotions and friendships once again.

Taking up a plate in her right hand, the brown-white rider piled high sweet rolls and other delicate treats. The forgotten sensations only made her smile a bit wider, realizing that she had missed too much. Moving aside the tables, she then picked up a mug and began filling it to the brim.

Glancing over as she heard Necia's remark, she chuckled softly. "Oh, there is so much we need to catch up on. Best make haste," she playfully winked as she scooted over towards the side and waited.

Marvelous! Zalenth bugled as he sweeped upwards and snapped his wings open; catching sail upon a brisk air current. I think some alone time is just what the Healer ordered, he rumbled with laughter as he propelled himself towards the right and soared just aside the scarlet.

Lead on, dear Piroth! Lead on!

(Sorry! Sorry! I know that I haven't posted here recently, it just seems like there's never enough time or drive in the day.)

Neci filled her plate as quickly as Stry had, grabbed a cup of water, and found them a place to sit with ease. The hall wasn't all that full at all, which left plenty of open seats for them to take.

"So, ex and future weyrmate," Necia addressed as she picked up her fork, toying with it though she kept her green-hazel eyes on Stry. "What should our... activity list for the day be? You're probably still trying to warm up after that trip between and after swimming I should probably scrub down with sweetsand. If we head to the baths right after this they'll probably be mostly empty."

Raising up her mug of klah to her lips, Stryder sipped slowly and intook the tantilizing auroma as her senses were begining to awaken fully. The trip back home had been long and, to say the least, her energy level was low and docile. To Stry, klah was one of those necessities that kept her going throughout the day and, hopefully, it would be able to keep up with her.

Parting the cup from her lips, the brown-whiterider couldn't help but smirk and softly laugh. Oh, she had missed Neci so much! Benden Weyr lacked in humor and was dry with comedy. Thankfully, she wouldn't have to return back there again. "Just tell me what's on your mind and I'm sure I can comply," she grinned as she walked over towards the empty seats and sat herself down.

"A good, warm bath sounds nice," she commented as she tore off a piece from a sweet roll, "I still feel dirty from flying thread and being bombarded by the dragons ichor from their threadscores. And it would be nice to have some alone time," she mused with a sly grin playing across her lips.

"It all sounds perfect."

C'nor smiled kindly at Liana. "It's C'nor, and yes, we can eat together."

((Sorry Contrition, I accidently over-looked your post somehow))
