I recently stumbled onto Blind Guardian... does anyone have suggestions as to which song/album i should start listening to... I'm really interested in this band

'Tales from twilight world' is a ver solid and straightforward album, so you should start with it. smile

Not my favorite, but still quite good. Their sound can be a bit... eh, heavy for my tastes at times? But I have Night at the Opera and Nightfall in Middle Earth, and definitely enjoy them.

i haven't heard them (besides half a song) but whenever someone mentions them i always think of my friends bright neon green phone ('cause that's where i heard them) sweatdrop

I've ... acquired ... most of there stuff, but I'm not so much into the medieval PM thing. I did the same thing with Angra however, and I'm gradually sponging them up. Sometimes these unique bands are an acquired taste, something to develop an ear for.
Perhaps with time I'll love Blind Guardian as much as you do.

last but not least of my tops, blind guardian... in my opinion is the greats moving music worldwide. im a tough guy, i fight and blow s**t up, ect. but there music can make me all teary every time. bard song rules.
