My favourite is the second in the Owlflight books. Ummm, my favourite character is probably...Alberich. I just think his character was written the best.

I don't think I could post a single book and character... but here's my top three four favorite books.
Storm Breaking - because to have read that book means you've probably read at least half or so of the others and I love the character development of Karal.
Owlsflight - because I read this book first. Then read the rest of the Valgarth books and then finished the last two books in the series - I was so confused as to the importance of Heralds. I looked herald up in the dictionary to see if it meant something special, sweatdrop I thought Heralds were nothing more than something like a mailman.
The Silver Gryphon - I had refused to read this book for almost two years because I didn't want to read about their children. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it though, I loved Silverblade and Tadrith and their fight for recognition. Besides, I got to read more about Skandranon and Amberdrake!
By the Sword - I loved Tarma and Kethry and enjoyed seeing them after they settled down a little. It's nice to know that once they've had their fill of kicking a**, they decide to settle down and teach others how to kick a** xd . That, and watching Kerowyn go from a stubborn, confused girl to a confident and capable adult is always fun - who doesn't dream of bringing their entire mercenary troop into Valdemar?
My favorite character is again a tough one, but probably Karal or Lavan.

Magic's promise is my all time favorite! Steffan is my fav. character... he's like a male version of myself!

Favorite book; wow thats hard, either the Black Gryphon, OwlKnight, or Magics Promise.
favorite character HAS to be Darien. I love his character development and can empathize with alot of his emotional growth.
