((Jeez, so far there's not much for Ryou to do, is there?))
Ryou watched his brother with a meloncholy stare. It seems that he's made a friend, he thought.
He gazed away to watch the other new students.
"Well", he said to himself as he watched Jonouchi and Bakura in their conversations, "It seems that this year's students are pretty lively."

Yami could feel his blood boiling and anger rising with every word that came from Bakura's mouth. It was clear that although Bakura was a skilled duelist, he did not understand the most important element of the game; the heart. I'd like to teach him a thing or two about it...in a duel. His desire to duel Bakura was even greater now, not just because of his skill but out of anger at him as well. Bakura had openly insulted his friend, he had no intention of just standing by and allowing it.
But he knew now was not the time. The entrance exams were taking place, and any other duels were forbidden. He was angry with Bakura, but it was not worth getting expelled over, especially not before he'd even gotten to the school.
"No one here is foolish or stupid, Bakura. We're all here with the same purpose, to improve our dueling skills. And it does not make anyone a dissapointment."
"In fact, if anyone here is a dissapointment, I'd say it's you, Bakura. You seem to be an excellent duelist, and I thought perhaps you could be not only a rival in duel monsters, but a friend as well. But it appears you'd rather remain an opponent both in the arena and out of it." He paused for a moment at that point, allowing his words to sink in, though he doubted they'd have much affect on Bakura. When he began to speak again, he was wearing one of his trademark smirks, as he always did when he was accepting a challenge, "My name is Yami Moutou. You'd best remember it for when we duel."
((Arrgh, I just remembered that duel academia only has a girl's dorm in Obelisk Blue, but I put Anzu in Osiris ><. I suppose we can just change the rule for the sake of the roleplay sweatdrop
And also, this is no big deal but I've seen it from a couple of people now so I'd just like to clarify; The entrance exams are still taking place and right now the only thing those who've completed it know is whether they've passed or not. They have not arrived on the island yet, and still don't know what dorm they are going to be placed in.))

((Ohkami, since this is an AU, I'm sure an exception could be made.))
This is bad, Anzu thought to herself as she listened to the verbal duel between Yami and Bakura. This white-haired student sure did think highly of himself and little of everyone else. His insults were starting to make her mad.
"I'm going to guess that you didn't have many friends growing up. Add my name to your list of academic rivals while you're taking roll. I am Anzu Mazaki, and you shouldn't underestimate me because I'm a girl."

(Eep. I forgot this was still up. I'll find somewhere to throw Seto in, and figure out what rank he'd be. I'd say Obelisk personally, but that's up to you all.)
Kaiba Seto knew without a doubt that he had passed his entrance exams, but it was rather amusing seeing the other students who may or may not have. Of course he saw a rather familiar face in the crowd, and true to nature he figured that he'd torment the blonde. He walked up next to Otogi and Jounouchi, looking down at the two. "Funny... you look like a dog to me. Perhaps if I was going by breed, either a mutt or Golden Retriever." Yeah, he was good. As he passed by the two, the taller CEO decided to take a seat a couple chairs over from Jou and Otogi. Surveying his surroundings and the other people around them.

(whoa there's a kaiba..lol.. coolies.. this is fun!) Jou blinked as a familiar sound ringed in his ear, his mind registering the words. His fist clenched tighter whilst the grin he had formed into a frown, his honey eyes glowing with a flicker of anger.
"What was that?"
He stood up on the chair and watched as the brunette walked off, his fist tighter then before whilst he growled. "That's it walk off wise guy! Just cos you're in a snazy outfit don't mind your better den us! You go that, I ain't no puppy dog!"
He glared at the CEO and glanced back at Otogi.
"Just 'cos his good on the dueling field and passed the test better den I did he thinks his better then all of us, JERK!" he raised his voice loulder at the last word, hoping that his rant would be heard.
"heh apparently he owns a really important famous company and he's also a few centermetres taller then us so he can act like a spolit brat." Jou sighed as he slipt back into his chair, his arms folded as he losened his fist. "I'll show everyone what this so called puppy dog can do.. me and my deck will." he looked at Otogi and smiled. "My friend take a seat."

((@ Buka: Don't worry about forgeting, I do that sometimes too sweatdrop . and Seto has been put in Obelisk Blue, everyone is ranked already, and if you're interested you can just check the characters post. Their names are color co-ordinated to their dorms. ^^))
Yami smiled in Anzu's direction again. She was certainly confident, and it was nice to see her sticking up for herself. He'd known a lot of other girls that would have prefered to hide behind him when a problem arose. And even though Bakura was a strong duelist, Anzu was not afraid to challenge him. She really has the potential to become a great duelist.

Sho managed to smile. "Thanks, Juudai." He looked up at his brother for awhile, then continued to look around.
He saw many students, but the crowed around the one with multi-color hair stuck out to him. "Who do you think that is?" Sho asked Juudai but kept his eyes on the group.

"Hn. The puppy has learned to speak." Seto smirked, leaning back against his chair. He crossed one leg over the other, pretty much acting non chalant. Jou's rantings didn't phase him one bit, he has heard worse from other companies and the like. "Oddly I find jerk as a compliment. I've heard worse since I am President of a major company."

//Everyone's updating...my turn!//
Anger.... Just what Bakura wanted. Getting the boy mad would just make the duel more interesting later. Yet the female beside him needed to learn how to keep her mouth shut... He didn't care by what name she would be called, did she think he was interested in even making contact with her. Bakura grinned and looked to Yami one last time, "Opponent, is something I will remain to you Yami Moutou as long as things remain the same in this academy...but until we meet again as Duelist Academy students then I believe that duel is in order when that time comes." With that he turned and walked away...
//Mind gone blank... But I hope that was good...//

Sho blinked. "Umm...Juudai? I think he's kinda busy..." He tried to pull Juudai away, but gave in. "We should probably leave these people alone..." Sho looked uneasy about talking to these people. He knew they'd all step on him in the end.

Yami gave Bakura's back one last solid glare as the teen walked away. "Man, what a jerk." He said, Returning to his conversation with Anzu.
But he was slightly interrupted again when he saw a pair of flailing arms in the air a few rows away. He believed the person, who'd just introduced himself as Juudai Yuuki, was trying to get his attention. So he replied, "I'm Yami. It's...nice to meet you?" His voice was laced with a hint of confusion, not entirely sure how to react to the boys unusual greeting.

Juudai ran right up to where Yami and Anzu were, oblivious to their looks of confusion.
"Nice to meet you too, Great One! This is such an honor. You've got to be a serious duelist." He put a hand behind his head and laughed. "I've heard all about you, you're kind of my idol, to be honest. Maybe we could duel sometime."
He realized he was babbling and snapped out of it. His brown eyes widened as he saw Anzu, and realized he interrupted them. "Oh. I'm sorry. What's your name, miss?"
He reached out his hand for Anzu to shake with a carefree smile.

Yami chuckled at Juudai's incredible enthusiasm. However, he was also quite surprised by the boys idol comment. Did had dueled frequently back in Domino, and entered several local tournaments, but he wasn't expecting people at the schoolt to already had heard of him. It was shocking, but also very flattering at the same time, "Wow, thank you. And I think a duel would be great!" He could sense an incredible dueling spirit within the boy. And unlike Bakura, Juudai was definitely the type one could have a friendly match with. With the duel monsters world becoming so competitive, people like that were not easy to find. It would be a nice change.
