Alba Lux Blind Guardian the 2nd I'm just going to be a typical skeptic and say everyone on this website is human. But many will beg to differ. I basically agree. What exactly do you people mean by calling yourselves vampires?
Essentially, vampires are people with an energetic deficiency. A chakra of theirs is blocked or broken entirely, which disrupts the energetic distribution in their bodies. Because of this, there is an energy leak of sorts which causes a depletion in their energy levels. In addition to eating and sleeping like anyone else, they also have to take in energy from an outside source in order to maintain their energies at a "comfortable" or "working" level.
There are two basic types of vampires, both of which are defined based on the manner in which they acquire energy; Psionic Vampires(also called Psi-vamps/Psi-feeders) and Sanguinary Vampires(also called Sanguinarians/Sanguivores).
You know how energy healing is based on channeling out energy? Well, psionic feeding is drawing lifeforce energy from someone or something inward, rather than channeling energy outwards to that person or thing. Sanguinary Vampirism is a bit messier than that. Sanguinarians require a more physical form of the energy they are lacking. As a result, they consume blood(which has a ridiculously high concentration of pranic energy) from willing donors, by means of creating a small incision. Sanguinary vampires only require a little blood, due to the pranic energy concentrations found therein.
In addition to this, there are also subconscious psionic vampires. These are people who are totally unaware of their energy drainings, or what they're doing to other people. These are the kinds of people that you find tire you out. The sort of people that you can only spend so much time around, before you just feel "drained", tired, and just want to go home or whatever.
So, Vampirism is an energetic deficiency and nothing more. 3nodding

If it were meant to be an emphasis, you wouldn't be human to start with. I am a human. Anything else is an attribute, an affiliation, and is not meant to override the fact of humanity.
