-Bio: I was born in New Jersey, but moved to Ohio fairly early on. All of my school years have been spent here. I've lived in Findlay, my current residence, as well as Ada and Perrysburg. I enjoy almost anything that involves my creativity and imagination.
-Why you joined: To improve my debating skills, and possibly pick up a few tips/pointers/tricks.

Bio: What to say? I'm not good at intros but here it goes. I live in the greatest place on the planet. California!! I'm in my junior year of highschool. No AP classes, nothing advanced. Pretty average classes. I'm a very average guy. I am mainly middle ground I guess when it comes to most things, but some subjects I am very one sided with. All of those listed above. I tend to take the strangest sides to the strangest subjects(For zoophilia, necrophilia, creationism beign taught in school, and men having say in abortions) I guess that's all I have to say.
Why you joined: I joined because I was invited, and I thought this place would sound a little cool.

Bio: I'm a hyper active junior at a high school in wabash indiana. Bad grades in math, but my current events, speech, english and journalism grades are stellar. I love someone who can put up a good verbal fight, and even though I start to hate them in the beginning, I've been known to become good friends with them near the end. I love the arts, music and other normal teenage things. I love the gothic look, even though I am hyper and happy a lot. ^^

Subject most concerned about: Abortion, Same Sex Marraige, Stem Cell Research, Human Testing (Yes it happens in America too)
Bio: I'm a Gaia Rule Nazi. I'm Opinionated. Deal. My Thoughts and views will be expressed no matter what. I try to remain objective, but if someone jumps on me for something I believe there will be trouble. One thing I will not debate is Religion. I feel it is not in the rights for people to argue about.
Why you joined: Because I was invited here. I Love to debate, while I am not involved in politics or really care for them. I, like everyone else, have thoughts and views on many issues involved in politics I like to debate about. Hearing opposing views is always a nice thing. You learn a lot about people when you hear what they believe or don't believe.

Bio: I am in Drama, And I like to Express points from myself and others. I do like to argue about deep issues at some points in school even though my friends give up when I bring up certain facts. Lol. No fun, I think this guild will be a challange yet will be a lot of fun.

Subject most concerned about: Wow...... ummmm....... Mixing Religion and Politics, and Doing something you know isn''t right.
Bio: I have a very interesting look at life: I''m right until you can prove me wrong. I know it''s not the best outlook, but it has helped me in the past. I am a smartass and i will add that into my opinion. Oh well. I am a guy who likes to try until the last breath to prove myself right, and i know how to make public apologizes because of that. Just don''t insult my state of mind, or i will show my truest colors.
Why you joined: A friend of mine, (not mentioning any names, SAM!) asked for me to be invited, and i love to put my opinion on the block before it is slaughtered.

Subject most concerned about: Mostly the state of the educational system and people's rights in the United States.
Bio: I am in 11th grade, in the town highschool, and I used to be part of their creative writing club and the newspaper stuff - to a point. I write, draw, and work on the computer alot, and likes a good debate.
Why you joined: I was invited to join. When I looked into the guild, it looked like it'd be a good one to accept because I can discuss topics of politics without having an idiot try to debate the subject when they know nothing about it.

Political party: Liberal Democrat (United Kingdom third party) - if in US, would vote Green or independent by conviction, but Democrat to make a difference.
Subject most concerned about: Voter apathy, and lack of general knowledge amongst voters and upcoming voters. The fact that the voting public at large often seems not to give a darn about who's being allowed to do whatever in their name scares me to death, and could get us into a lot of trouble if too many people stay at home on polling day someday.
Other political interests: proportional representation; cultural imperialism; the separation of Church and State; federalism; civil liberties (including the right to equality under law, and politicians using terrorism as a folk devil to pass through anything they like); the use of spin to create a prescriptive climate amongst voters, and censorship. The last two of which lead into both the above and below.
Bio: BA (Hons) English Language and Literature; PGCert/MSc Information and Library Management.
To keep it brief: I live in the north of England, and I'm a Children's Librarian these days. However, I used to work as a journalist on a local newspaper in central London, wandering around the Houses of Parliament on a regular basis.
I'm still officially qualified, but now keep my journalism freelance, on the grounds that under contract it seems to consist of chasing celebrities and typing up press releases according to what slant is needed to tow the line, and on no account is one encouraged to question, research or investigate.
And since I felt a nasty moral vacuum in spinning the truth, I threw in the towel. As a librarian, I hand out raw facts and let people make their own decisions about what to think, rather than telling them. Call me a moral coward if you must, but I prefer doing that.
Why you joined: This seemed like a place where I could discuss politics with people who'd not only take it seriously, but possibly know what they were talking about. The two aren't always found together.

Political party: If I had to choose I'd be a democrat. I was thinking about being independant but I don't know.
Subject most concerned about: gay marriages, gay rights, abortion, Katrina, Iraq, energy consumption, illegal immigration, and all the other major issues such as John Roberts.
Bio: Don't really have one. I just like to debate religion, morals, politics and I like to post my opinion on the topics. I mostly like to here both sides of the issue first and thanks to the news I'm able to do that.
Why you joined: I like politics and current issues and I like debating them. I like hearing people's views on them.

Bio: I'm from New York and a scifi addict. I love to debate with people, going so far to be the devil's advocate at times. While I am a staunch supporter of my beliefs, I do not interfere with others so I like to think I'm pretty easy to discuss topics with. I am fairly well-read and keep up to date on the news, but I admit that I am not the most brillant person in the world nor do I know everything. For that reason I like to meet new people.
Why you joined: Politics has always drawn me. I find great pleasure in the discussion of theories, ideas, and laws so much so that I seek to run for the presidency at least once in my life.
