Esmeralda looked to the stage when Axel was called next and turned to looke at him when he got up to walk to the stage and he got set up for his song. She wasnt surprised that he was going to be doing a cover over karaoke. She smiled listening to him sing. When he was done she clapped and cheered for him like she had with everyone else. She figured this would be a good chance to grab a water before she probably got called again to go up and sing before it would be curfew and they would have to head back to their dorms.

I have a feeling that the time is gonna run out before everyone gets through their songs. But because not everyone is posting frequently, I think just finish off with the duet between Esmie and Axel to end the night~? Whatcha think~?

Axel sat back down at the table and looked around. There wasn't much of a crowd anymore, only a handful of students in the room. They were drinking, backs turned to the stage now. Even the presenter could feel the change. He noticed her going through card after card with a frown. He turned to Esmeralda. "Should we finish the night on our duet? Shallows?" he asked. The others were busy talking over one another, so it wasn't a bad idea.

Esmeralda drank her water as people started heading back to their dorms for the night seeing as it was almost curfew. She turned to Axel when he asked if she wanted to finish with their duet. She smiled and nodded. "That would be a fun way to end the night"

The presenter looked around and gave a small smile to the group. She waved Esmeralda and Axel over for them to do their duet. She played the music and waited for them to sing together.
Axel walked back to the stage alongside Esmeralda. He blushed, hoping his red cheeks weren't noticeable. They weren't going to be impressing a crowd, just their friends, but he wanted to impress her. He just hoped his voice didn't crack as he was singing. God, he hoped she didn't mimic Meera's empathy to know his feelings. His heart pounded in his chest as he began singing with her.

Esmeralda smiled seeing the presenter wave them over. She set down her glass and got up walking over with Axel. She was just excited to have fun singing for her friends. She grabbed the mics from the presenter and handed one to Axel with a smile. She listened to the music and watched as he began singing. The song was much slower and relaxed so she just enjoyed singing along side him. Which she had to admit she loved doing. It was like they made magic together anytime they performed together.

Axel finished singing and smiled at Esmeralda as they left the stage. The others cheered for them before announcing that they would be leaving for the dorms before the curfew bell. Axel turned to Esmeralda as he gathered his things. "Do you want me to walk you to the dorms?" he asked.

Esmeralda smiled as her friends cheered and they walked off stage back to the others. At this point everyone was splitting up to head back to their dorms before the curfew bell. She said bye to her friends as she grabbed her bag and turned to Axel when he asked her if she would want him to walk her to her dorm. She smiled and nodded. βIβd like that.β
