I voted no. Because as an inactive member myself, I would still like to stay as a member. People might not log in for weeks but they still cherish this membership.
Much like Midnight up there, she was here when it all started and was inactive for some time as well as a few of our VCs. I don't see "removing people" would do the guild any good. Whether they are active or not, they've been a part of the guild and I beleive we should keep it that way since we welcomed everyone with open arms.
Of course they can choose to remove themselves or never log in but they can always come back to us when they decide to. (To this day we are all still waiting for Booky's return and thankful for Satan's return.) Removing inactive ppl would mean half the VCs and founders of this guild including myself and fallen should be gone. It is a huge risk in itself as life happens when it wants to. I understand re-adding ppl is an option, but to what point? I for one would not want to keep re-joining a guild that would keep kicking me because I'm inactive.
The purpose of this guild was to give people a place to belong. I don't think ripping them off it is a good idea. I mean the best way to recruit is from word of mouth. We want to spread positive vibes. Some people might have the wrong timezones and some are shy, yeh know. Let ppl play at their own pace. Removing them will not make them active, it will force the active ones to be on edge about it. We don't want this to be a job just to stay on a guild.
The guild isn't inactive because members aren't pulling their weight. It is inactive because life happens and the lack of activity we the crew are giving them. Also, there are much more to do in gaia than talk in our forums. Ex;
ZOMG RAIDS
FISHING DATES
TOWNHOUSE SURFING (totally made up)
COMMUNITY RECOLOURS (just had to add this - well crap, no more glow >_> )
I'm saying we can also bring Supreme to the busiest areas in gaia instead of tying to activate our forums. Like, CB or Rally!? Idk. Give people something fun and they will follow. Give them stricter rules and it will fall apart. Gaians are
lazier busier than you think, you literally have to spoon feed them. (*points to self 😂 )
WITH THAT SAID, I SHOULD BE DEMOTED, but not removed. I've been inactive as a VC for some months now. But I still carry the Supreme name proudly in towns and recruiting ppl whenever I can. I'm a lot lazy but I'm not a complete slack a**. LEL (I go at Crimson pace, bwehehe)
