Shun gave a noncommittal grunt. That said, he didn't stop eating.

"You like it," Chel said with a smug look on her face, fear slowly ebbing away. It wasn't Shun's fault. Nothing was ever other peoples' fault.
She wiped her hands on his dish towel and finally joined him, scooting her stool until she sat perpendicular to him on the corner. "Good thing I threw all that poison in." She was still watching the knives warily.

Shun lifted his gaze. And he was glaring daggers at Chel. Still no words were spoken. But he was definitely giving a death glare there.

Her grin softened ever so slightly. "How come you hate me so much? I can't figure it out."

"I like very. Very few people. Remember? Also you are obnoxious," he mumbled before looking back down at his soup and continuing to eat it anyway.

"How can I be not obnoxious?" Which sounded like an idiotic question but that was it was coming from a person who wasn't very bright.

Shun raised his brow at her. He couldn't tell if that was a sincere question or not.
"Not pry for one. And respecting my personal space."
He did not forget at kiss she gave him out of the blue at the coffee shop.

And she hoped he also didn't forget that she hadn't touched him since. Not even at the library.
"Mm. Hefty list," she told him. "What else?"

"Those are the big ones. The list is subject to change," Shun stated as he finished his soup. Picking up the empty bowl, he made his way over to the sink to clean it up.
"I still do not understand why you are so persistent in trying to befriend me. Surely there are others who are more...accepting than I."

"Tell me when it changes. I dunno what I'm doin' wrong f'you just grunt at me all the time." She gestured to the pot in a "there's more if you want it" kind of way, but she suspected he would be enjoying leftovers for the next few days.
"There's lots ah people more accepting than you. A whole town by my count." She gave him a grin, avoiding the question because she still didn't have an answer. She continued to sip her soup as she'd only just begun.

"So why me?" he grunted, putting his now clean bowl and spoon onto a dish rack. He turned to face Chel, folding his arms over his chest again as he leaned back against the counter.

"I just gave you that answer. Yet you did not give me one in turn," he stated. Shun glanced down, lightly touching his bandaged left arm.

"It's-" She looked down to the bandaged arm he was looking at. "D'you need them changed?"
Chel had a junkdrawer skillset; Connor, her EMT friend had once taught her how to correctly bandage limbs. Mostly because they had drunkenly broken some glass and one of them (not saying who) needed bandaging.
