Amity had her wings tucked tight against her back as the truck drove down the road, still rattled from their getaway. Ronan, meanwhile, gave a short nod at the suggestion of the ice cream shop. "That... would be nice." In all honesty, he was still ready to just go home, but a little unwinding beforehand might not be a bad idea. Once they had parked outside the parlor Ronan went ahead and let himself out of the truck, Amity following behind him and tucking an arm through one of his. The compass was still in her other hand, but right now she wasn't paying much attention to it.

Even though Amity wasn't paying attention to the compass, the compass really couldn't have been paid attention to at that moment. Upon stepping out of the trunk everyone's eyes would have been drawn to the scene at the flower shop next door to the ice cream parlor, where a local news van was parked and reporter was broadcasting live on scene.
"...but the florists here at Wendy's Flower Shop and Gardening Supply, have struck it rich!"
Next to the reporter was the store owner, smiling out of nervousness and delight.
"Ah...We have no real idea just how or why or WHAT happened but just this afternoon one of my employees came running up to me saying that there was gold in our greenhouse! I wasn't sure what to believe at first - we have gold flowers to be sure - but as soon as I followed her in there to see, she was right!"
"Now for those of you at home you're going to be seeing some clips we recorded a bit ago of the greenhouse and as you can see, everything in there is sparkling! But that's not dew on those leaves that you're seeing or pollen - our sources confirm that gold flake has appeared on the plants here at Wendy's! Wendy, do you have any idea how this could have happened?"
"None at all! I'm just...I can't believe it!"
"Behind us we can see the store is still open for business as usual. Now can people come down and take a look at this lucky find or are you holding off on letting people inside in order to find the source of it?"
"Oh ah...I don't see why not! There's plenty of it in there, I don't think I have to worry about people walking off with anything, hahaha!"

When the group alighted from the truck, it would seem that they have stepped out of one crowd into another as hordes of excited people seemed to be milling around the florist. "Oh goodness...," murmured Xiu when he caught wind of the excited chatter around him. It would seem that the missing fel essences were turning up every which way around town. Briefly Xiu wondered if other teams were having such a field day as this. Turning to Ronan, Louis, and finally Amity, Xiu gave a resigned shrug. "Guess ice-cream would have to wait...,"

Louis rolled his eyes the moment they got out of the truck. There was really no time for them to catch their breaths. Right outside the flower shop was a horde of people, with cameras focusing at the shop. "I guess not..." he sighed as the group made their ways towards the shop. With all the chatter happening, Louis managed to pick up a little on what was happening. Gold appeared within the shop, no doubt the work of a Fel Essence. He took in the surrounding and let out another sigh. The cameras and the reporters would probably be a pain to deal with. Gathering the Essence would make them a criminal, they'd be "stealing". "What are we gonna do," he whispered to the group "we'll be caught on tape if we try to just take the essence..."

Even when they went to take a break, it looked like they were tripping over essences. Ronan listened to the gaggle of news people outside the flower shop, giving a grimace when Louis made his comment. They'd already been accused of stealing one essence, and he wasn't in the mood to have a repeat. Amity, meanwhile, finally remembered that she was holding the compass. After the last two times though... Floating over to Xiu she held out the compass to the other raevan. "Would... you be okay taking it for awhile?" She already messed up with the last two times they'd come across something, and she didn't want to do it again.

Even with the slight jostling the compass would receive with being passed off the needle inside would still point vigilantly toward the flower shop. After the interview the reporter gave her sign off and they all started to pack up to leave, signalling some of the crowd that had gathered to depart in various directions. A large handful of curious folks decided to head on into the flower shop - some scoffing, others genuinely curious - so it was clear as day that petty theft would probably not get them as far as it had before.
As the team heads into the shop it is bustling. Talk of gold randomly appearing in the greenhouse aside, it was still a perfect day for gardening and many people were out and about buying the necessary supplies. The woman who had been interviewed was animatedly chatting away with a patron, gesturing to where the morning miracle had happened.
"Oh go right on in! I meant what I said to the reporter; there's really no worry about anything happening in there! Besides, I'm thinking if you walk out of there with a little gold on your clothes, you get to keep it! Would be good for business don't you think?!"
If they all follow her waving and the small stream of curious folk who wanted a look, the team would slowly make their way into a massive greenhouse just off the shop. Longer than it was wide, it was full from end to end with tables and stretching rows of tables upon which many dozens of plants sat. The room was full of sunlight which helped draw their eyes to the presence of the gold that had been talked about. The far end of the greenhouse had the biggest concentration of it while coming closer to the entrance it thinned out to only a few flakes here or there. As they looked around a worker dashing from their end to the far end with a full watering can brushed by one of the flake-dusted plants, sending said flakes airborne to float and eventually settle on or around that very plant.

It would seem that pin-pointing the source of the golden flakes would not be very hard at all for the excited florist was recounting her experience with any and all that would care to listen. A twinge of guilt flitted across the Sigel. They would be taking away the source of this rather beautiful golden flakes the instant they got the chance to. No doubt the florist would be left disappointed. Who wouldn’t? It was attracting business and the woman seemed like a really nice person herself. But fel essences were fickle things and Team B could not risk the chance of something unexpectedly nasty happening to these innocent bystanders. As the group followed the flow of customers, Xiu could not help but grin slightly at the sight of his gold dusted team mates. “This feels like something out of the tale of Mother Holle,” the Sigel said, remembering the story of a girl returning home covered in gold. “Let’s hope this ends happily as well,” The susurration of a crowd in awe soon told Xiu that they were getting close to the source. That, and the fact that the gold flakes here seemed particularly dense, making some of the flowers and pots look as though they have been covered with gold foil.

Louis was feeling rather dejected. Everyone seemed to be going into the shop, something he had hoped would not happen. Stepping into the flower shop however, his breath was taken away. Gold flakes covered everything and the way the light reflected off the gold, it felt truly magical. He did feel rather sad, having to take this away from the shop keeper but with what he had experienced thus far, Fel Essences only spelled trouble. He quickly glanced around, noting that a portion of the green house was covered in denser layers of gold flakes but he could not figure out what was causing it.

Ronan and Amity followed the group into being escorted into the shop and greenhouse, and Amity's lips parted in wonder as she saw the scene inside. If she hadn't been told already that it was gold she might have thought it was fairy dust, and a small flurry of the flakes were sent up as she passed to settle on her skin. Ronan went ahead and listened to the shop keeper as they walked, coming closer to the back of the greenhouse. No clear indication yet where the essence might be, but the increasing occurrence of gold made him think they were getting close.

((Sorry, I really thought I was waiting for GM)) XD;;; While it seemed that the group was indeed getting closer to the source of the gold flakes, they were unable to identify its perpetrator. And asking the shopkeeper something suspicious like that would probably have them ushered out in two shakes of a dog's tail. "From past experiences, we are probably looking for something that blends in with the environment," said Xiu as he took a quick look at the compass. "The needle is still pointing in the same direction. I guess we could still follow the crowd," I wonder how safe is it to be breathing in all these gold dust

Louis squinted as he looked around. With all the gold settling on everything, it was hard to discern what was different. Everything looked so unusual, it could be the Fel Essence and he wouldn't have realised. Seeing an odd shape on the table, Louis thought he found it but when he picked it up, it was only a garden gnome covered in gold. "This is going to be really hard..." he lamented.

"We'll get there eventually," Ronan murmured. The four of them continued to move with the crowd, some plants in hanging pots above shedding gold flakes to land on their shoulders and their hair. Right now the shop keeper was talking with another patron, answering some basic questions on how she ran the greenhouse and what it was like keeping things going year round. Not really essence talk, but maybe it could point them in the right direction.

Shaking his head to dislodge some of the gold dust, Xiu chuckled. "You know, at the rate this is going, and if the gold is real, we'd be able to trade the dust for quite a nice sum of money," And it would seem that the other patrons shared the same view as well as they dawdled and gawked at the falling flakes with many dusting the gold into various containers about their persons.

Louis took a look around him. Everyone was carrying some form of carrier and stuff it full with the gold dust. He was surprised that the shop keeper was so giving, allowing people take home what ever gold dust they collected. "I could use some new furniture ... "Louis mumbled, grabbing a handful of gold flakes and stuffing it into his pockets.

"I think you'll need a little more than that for furniture," Ronan muttered. As exciting as it was that this was actual gold, there was still the fact that overall this was still a fairly small amount. Sure, if all the gold in the greenhouse was gathered up it might prove to be a tidy sum, but right now it seemed to be more similar to thin gold leaf than hitting pay dirt. Then again, if things kept going the way they were...
