Philip looked at Callum and shook his head. "If I didn't feel comfortable with the idea, I wouldn't be this close to you, well without some kind of a struggle anyways. I... Like you Callum and I don't mind being with you as more then a friend, actually I can't think of any reason I wouldn't want to be with you." He said looking down and away. "Like I said, your the first one I've actually wanted to be close to since my capture. I want to be more then a friend to you. Honestly, you are a perfect mate for someone of my kind."

"I guess your more the perfect mate for me. I just always thought that if I was going to pick a permanent partner, they would be caring to their young and mate, strong, protective, have the means to support his family, and most of all love me and any children we had together. I never really thought I would find someone so I just said my kind. After all who doesn't want a powerful and strong mate that can protect them and their children?" He said looking down a bit embarrassed that he said what he had been thinking.

Philip shook his head when he was told he was stunning and adorable. "Im not. I was only sought after back home because I was able to produce young." Looking up at Callum he smiled before speaking again. "You don't have to worry about that. I can decide if I bare young or not until I am officially mated to someone. Once I do accept a mate, that ability will change. I guess it was to make sure that we would be able to provide a child with the one we are paired with until we find our own families." He understood the concept of it making sure that they knew who's child the baby belonged to.

"Im happy you don't care about that part of my abilities." He said before he looked at the bed. "Um, how do you sleep usually?" He asked after a moment since he had never actually slept in a bed before. "This is my first time sleeping in bed, not um, using it." He said after a moment before he sat on the bed and looked at Callum. He didn't know what to actually do besides what the guards had used them for and he wasn't that comfortable around them before. "That doesn't mean Im not comfortable around one with you. I trust you and can tell you wouldn't actually do anything."

Philip looked at Callum and the bed before he climbed into it and lay next to the other. "I would like that actually." The merman said with a smile and a bit of a blush. He wasn't sure why he was acting shy around the other suddenly when he had been with plenty of others before. As he got comfortable he rested his head on Callum's chest and let out a sigh. "This is nicer then what Im used to. Your nicer then those I had been with before. I don't know why I was trying to keep my distance from you before."

Philip looked at Callum and nodded. "Yea I guess your right. It is normal for someone to want to stay away from others if that is how they are treated. Though, I think things have started to change. Not everyone is bad, though I know I cant trust all humans or demons." He wasn't really sure who he could trust besides Callum but he was going to learn eventually. As he lay there his eyes started to grow heavy and he was soon asleep. He had been rather tired after all.

philip let out a content sigh as he slept remaining close to Callum waking up not long after his bed companion had. He woke up slowly and smiled at the other before he gave the man a small kiss on the cheek. "Hey, thanks for not leaving. I understand your a busy man so staying with me means a lot." It was nice to wake up with someone he actually wanted to be with and not one he had been forced to be with or paired with. "We should let Sarah out of her room, unless you wanted to just stay like this for a bit."
