Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: Not the greatest answer he was hoping to hear. A well mannered person would of said 'Yeah, I'm fine, let's continue' or 'No I'm not fine, but I'll continue anyway'. But first thing she assumes he was doing was pitying her. Which was obviously nor the case at all. And he was going to make that know to her, one way or another.
"It's not pity or mercy that I asked if you were okay," Balza'ran answered, "It's out of concern. As admirable as your fighting spirit is, it is of no use to you if you are lying on the ground bleeding," he then started taking a couple steps forward before he closed the distance between the two at breck neck speed. With a flourish of fervent foot positioning, the warrior female would find her opponent is now within striking distance, purposely swinging his left foot at such a speed that she can easily read an anticipate. Her likely choice would be to grab a hold and hopefully have a shot at his exposed chest, until he bent his body backwards and touched the bare ground with his hands. Swinging his feet up into the sky, with Amar'e hopefully clinging on, he would slam the feisty female into the asphalt, his knee now likely in her chest and a fist in her face.
"You put up a good fight, but I believe I have won this round. May I get the name of the woman that gave me such a wonderous fight?"

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze
Concerned? Concern and pity wasn't it all the same? Made her remember the whole Luke incident. A bit distracted by her memories and thinking of a snark response to retaliate with, she was caught off guard with his suddenly swift movement. She barely understood the kick coming, and just as he had planned she went to block it. The result was her finding herself slammed down hard into the pavement. For a quick moment she was convinced that he was right about his win, but she was more stubborn then a mule. There was always a quick fix, and that was, her legs were free. A very major flaw on his part. As he began to ask for her name he would find her legs wrapping around him tightly as she flung him over to the side, her body in the movement ending up on top, her hands on his chest roughly slamming him into the pavement. Long golden hair fell over her shoulder near his face as the glare in her eyes told him that it wasn't him to make the last move. It would have been followed by a sassy remark but the movement strained her wounds even more requiring her to breath and not speak.
After one last second of glaring at him, she released the hold on his chest. "Amar'e" With that she'd get off of him, but neither agreeing or disagreeing with his claim to victory. For all she cared he could think of it however he so pleased.

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: You only won because I made an error in my judgement of you.Well needless to say, for a warrior like Balza'ran, to be caught off guard by his opponent exploiting a tactical error was an event that didn't happen since his days on Okaara. In fact, he was so caught off guard that he was confused on how he ended up from being on top of her, to her being on top of him. Her hands roughly slammed him into the pavement, and he was incredibly pleased with the result. For a peasant, the golden haired tigress was beginning to make a good impression on him.
And he had a name from her as well. Amar'e. That was a very good name, and as she got off his chest and stood up, he let her know about his thoughts, "A name fitting for a warrior queen," he answered. Well it would be fitting if she wasn't a peasant. But she was strong and fit, so for now, he'll let that one flaw slide. Though his pride was slightly damaged by the fact he basically lost, "But I am going to inform you, you won because of a minor tactical error on my part."
And maybe he was......distracted a little. Then again, with what she was wearing, that is a pretty convenient and true statement.

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze
Warrior queen? Amar'e raised an eye brow at him before shrugging the compliment off. At least it seemed he thought of her fighting skills well enough to deserve such a compliment though the whole queen part wasn't necessary. Royal titles and all that jazz just didn't roll with her. Though if he looked close enough a soft smile was found on her lips for a brief moment before he started up with his "excuses". Amar'e looked at him bluntly as she plopped down in some random bench nearby chuckling. "Ahahahahahahahahah... bullshit," she stated her eyes on his face. "All I hear are shitty excuses on your part, such things don't exist in a fight. You screw up you screw up, the reasons why don't matter. So the princess has flaws... big deal." In order to let him understand she was really joking about the princess part she quickly followed up on the comment. "Imma keep calling you that unless I have a name. It's your choice."

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: I would of executed you if you weren't so beautiful. At least as beautiful as me.If it wasn't for what she added at the end of her statement, he might of taken it the wrong way. Sure he wasn't technically a prince, but he was of noble blood and as such, should be treated as such. And he would of enjoyed personally putting a peasant who didn't respect that to death if she wasn't joking around. Thankfully she was, so the only thing she got was a cool stare followed by his features softening a bit and he actually giving a small laugh in return.
"True, so true," he answered. It was one of many lessons he was taught at Okaara. A fight can be won or lost because of your actions and yours alone. And it took a peasant girl to remind him of that. His chuckle fading away, he decided to take a seat right by Amar'e, reclining back and putting his hands behind his head, "Since you let me know your name, Amar'e, it is common courtesy to let you know of mine. It is Balza'ran."
After a few seconds of silence, he asked a question that was on his mind for a while, "Where did you learn to fight like that? It is definitely a style not taught by the Warlords of Okaara, so I know you weren't taught there. Yet I cannot not deny it's effectiveness."

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze
Amar'e's arms were rested on the back of the bench in a quite relaxed manner. Calling hiim princess was a risky move but it seemed her assumption that he could take it (at least at this moment) was accurate, hell he even laughed in return. So Balza'ran was his name. From the ending it was clear he came from the same clan as the royal family though, he was not on the line of heirs.
The golden tigress gaze was straight ahead, ceasing looking at him when he sat down next to her. His question got a sigh as a response. Amar'e shifted in her seat, her head leaning back so she was looking up at the sky above. For what would seem like a long while she remained silent debating how to word her answer. "By fighting, although it was not from any formal training...." she paused. He was going to be the first person (other then the one who helped her) know of her story. "I left Tamaran five years ago but unlike I was planning, I somehow ended up imprisoned in some underground space gladiator arena thing.... I guess I learned things here and there from opponents as well as just doing my own thing."

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: Now it all makes senseSo her tactics were all born out of a need to survive. Like how Balza'ran was taught military tactics and ways of fighting so he would eventually be a part of the Tamaranean Army, she was forced to fight in such a way that not only would she entertain an audience. Hence why some of her moves were more risky in nature like sacrificing keeping her balance because she did not have at least one foot on the ground just so she can land a more flashy kick like both feet into her opponent's face.
Of course, she was probably also kidnapped because she was Tamaranean, and thus she was a near perfect specimen for those kind of games. After all, Tamaraneans have great durability, strength, and were well known as fierce opponents. She would make top dollar for her matches. He couldn't help but empathize with her plight....as well as feel angry. Not because she got caught, but because he had an idea on the kind of race that would kidnap one of his people.
"Well at the very least, your experience in the arena has forged a very strong warrior. But how did you manage to get caught in the first place? And how did you escape?" he asked.

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze Closing her eyes she listened to his response as she felt the sun on her face. It felt warm and welcoming. Her body little by little absobed its rays and it seemed that now that she wasn't moving around alot her body could focus on healing. It seemed the human male Luke may had been right about her needing to rest. That fact ate away at her pride a bit. As expect he wanted to know how she got captured and escaped. Taking in a breathe she figured she'd tell him the brushed up version. "I snuck out of Tamaran on a merchant ship. It was attacked somewhere in space by bandits. I was found and in the process of fighting against some of them, I was suddenly shot. Whatever it was, it took away my natural abilities. I was weakened enough to the point of capture. Long story short, was sold off to the Gladiator group. My escape... It's a bit more blurry. It wasn't planned. It just happened. I saw an opportunity and took it." She wasn't lying, she couldn't really recall how it went.

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: Hmmmmm....I seeWell it all made sense. It didn't at first. How could someone have kidnapped one of his people without access to technology developed by those Psion scumbags? Even after explaining that she was attacked by someone with the technology to take away a Tamaranean's natural capabilities, it still filled him with rage that someone would of done that, then subjected her to cruel gladiator games for some unknown reason beyond entertainment. Though he was amused that she fought for so long before she was taken away. He would of loved to have seen that fight unfold.
Her escape however, left more questions than it answered. Which it is safe to say, none at all. Then again, she was probably so delirious of constant fighting that she lost track of time and took any advantage she could just to get away from it all. He could find comfort though that her long years in captivity had forged a warrior that could match those trained by the Warlords. He doubted many of the students would know what to do against a woman who would take advantage of any opening to win.
"So you managed to find your way here. For a woman with no star map or possible idea of where you were going among the cosmos, finding a habitable planet on your first try was a very impressive fear," he finally answered as he pretty much did the same thing she did. Though his skin would always be pale, the sun's illuminating light did not burn. It rejuvenated his body, eased his slightly sore muscles, and relaxed his mood, "What do you plan to do now with your new life here? As observations tell me, the people here need to find an area of work in order to pay for their meals and keep a shelter over their heads."

╔════════════⊰☠⊱════════════╗ Corvo • Viaggiatore ” Will you let the best of your people be overshadowed by your worst ╚════════════⊰☠⊱════════════╝
Corvo sighed as he got to his feet and stepped off of the car he'd been sitting on. It looked like there'd be no entertainment left for him here, if that was the case it would be best of he moved on. He had no idea if he was still being tracked and its was better not to stay in one spot for long. After stretching for bit Corvo looked at the two warriors one last time before turning and disappearing down the sidewalk -exit-

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze "I wasn't looking for anywhere in particular.... I just kept... running," Amar'e had pauses due to both pondering the past few days journying to this planet and because she was feeling tired. She was going to need a good calm few days to fully recover. Amar'e wasn't going to say anything though. "Thanks though..." Wait wait what!? Did she just thank him for a compliment? She must reaaaaaally be tired, that or got knocked a bit too much in their fight. Yay... more questions and talking. "Uh... I... don't know.... I have no clue about the life here.... I've been her about a day...." Moving a hand she rubbed her eyes lightly to shake off a bit of the drowsiness falling on her. Relaxing like this was something she hadn«t done in forever. Her body although durable like all Tamaranean's had been wanting something like this.

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: Where can I find work here?Like her, even the greatest of Tamaranean nobility needs to just soak up the sun. Though as much as he is out enjoying the sun's warmth, he never tans, nor does he burn. She might of found the fact he's paler than her as strange, and he curses himself everyday for his albino condition. Yet his condition became the focus of his determination and rage. Not that she would see it. And he can relate to not being here long. He's only been here for a couple of hours.
"You and me both," he answered, "And I don't think any army on this planet can even handle someone like me......or you joining them," he said, remembering the fact that she was with him and for once, it was not just all about him, "I dunno. Only thing I really got going for me besides my skills in combat is my looks. And unless there are jobs on this planet where all you have to do is look good, that's about all I have."

Amar'e ❂ Goldblaze "Eh, probably not. But even if they could I wouldn't be interested." Amar'e replied calmly about the army situation. As he seemed to ponder about another possibility for him she began to stretch her neck a bit. There was a knot in her shoulder she was easing out. Though the process would come to a rough stop as he ended. Amar'e would never be able to explain exactly why she'd react the way she did, but it was in a way priceless. Her expression was holding back a laugh, a laugh that was stronger then her will to hold it back. Bending over her stomach she would laugh, not her snark like laugh during fights or after a sassy comment. This laugh was pure and true. One of pure amusement. Something she had not done in years that even she was taken back by the sound of it. Eyes closed, arms holding her stomach she kept at it a good amount of time, even when the pains from her wounds began to take affect. Little drops of tears collected at the corner of her eyes from both laughing and a bit of the pain. They didn't fall though, but they did glisten in the sunlight making their presence obvious. What had been so amusing about what he said? She wasn't quite sure. Maybe it had been the way he said it too? It was just amusing, here was Mr. High and Mighty strutting like he owned the world, but when presented with the need to work, he basically admitted he was pathetically helpless.
Her laughs softly came to an end. For a couple seconds she sat there still leaning over her stomach. "Haha... that... kinda hurt...." She uttered mainly to herself though it was likely Balza'ran would hear. "Well then..." Amar'e said to him as she began to sit up straight, her right hand sort of wiping away the tear on her right eye. "Good thing I didn't bust your face in or else you'd be screwed."

Balza'ran Darklance "The impure will die by my spear."
Status: Healthy Thoughts: Well that's a firstOut of everything he possibly could expecting to come out of her lips, it wasn't a sassy comment or an insult, but a very, very hearty laugh. One he didn't see coming, but at the same time, he wanted to let it linger for a bit. So, the peasant did have a sense of humor after all and wasn't all snark and brawn. He waited until she was finished laughing before she managed to continue talking. And she was right. If she smashed his face, he would of never forgave her.
When she was done laughing, she would be able to see that he was looking at her. And he was actually in a pretty pleasant mood because of the fact he was smiling. And it wasn't no arrogant smile of pride or anything, it was a genuine smile. One not seen often. At least once you get past his 'All about me' attitude and general jerkass attitude. Earth was becoming a very interesting place.
"Hey, I think you missed a spot," he finally said, "Here, let me get that for you."
It was a distraction, yes, but it was hopefully enough of one that the albino Tamaranean can get what he was going for: a kiss from the golden haired woman. On their world, it wasn't such a big deal. Kissing between their race was like a handshake on Earth. He figured she would be alright with that. If only he knew. Of course, one cannot really let his guard down around another warrior such as her. Especially when she has a hair trigger.

1 Week On 16/01/2014 After The Reign of Fear and the eternity it seemed to last, time once again began to fly by like normal until eventually, a week had passed. The main areas that bore the brunt of the assault: Coast City, Metropolis and Gotham easily begun their repairs and using their experience in cleaning up after super-powered individuals shortened the process to take little time at all.
Now that it was all over, the heroes now united could return to their normal lives. They could go to school. They could work. And eventually they could go back to their duties as superheroes; what's more is that more and more Legacies also began to develop. The world was finally recovering, the Void filling.
But just as the Crystal Grave was now inscribed with the word "WEAK" across its beautiful face, more and more things began to change. The White House shuddered. The President was unsure. How was he meant to deal with the Gods Now Amongst his people again? How was he meant to reign in people so powerful that they could decimate a whole army with a shoddy construct and a misfire?
The World was on the edge of its seat...
And the Universe looked on expectantly...
