Rioushu was still thinking of a way to distract Aonice, his heart beating quickly, thumping against his chest. "He could get rid of it, I was just stupid enough to wait, besides, there are other guys you could use it on..." Rioushu said, intentionally tripping himself backwards to where he fell onto the couch. He looked up at Aonice, his face red. "I told you, I wouldn't let it end there if I let you touch it..." Rioushu said quietly.

A blank stare looked on at the door ahead. She could just bust in and take charge, but that'd be too gung-ho. If she were going to do this, it needed to be professional -- Quick and silent.

Still looking down at the wooden barrier, Quint knocked. Louder than normal, it done to get the occupant at the door faster. Her heart beat faster as seconds passed, hands becoming clammy. She couldn't back out now, but that didn't mean it would be easy to do.

Her quarry not even two feet in front of her, Quint did something that surprised even her.

"Oh nothing much, just going around to see how everyone's doing..." She spoke somewhat similar to how she would if Roan had somehow bit the dust. "Mind if I come in for a moment?"

Deception..

"Doing fine, in fact.." Quint answered, taking a seat on the nearest chair, "She was actuall talking about maybe staying here, so that's cool.." In the back of her head, an order was given to her bats, unknown to Rioushu, who stayed put until the time was ripe.

"What about you? What's your brother getting into?"

"Actually," Quint began, forming a plan, her voice lowering to a seductive tone, "I love it. Let me show you how much.." Getting up from her chair, she moved over to Rioushu, gently touching his muscular arms, kneeling down to nibble on his neck.

"Damn, he's smarter than he puts himself out to be..."

"Oh what's the matter, I won't bite.." As soon as those words escaped Quint's lips, her bats sprung into action, melting away from her back, quickly oozing their way over to Rioushu. Once they reached him, they would cement around his legs, temporarily immoblizing him.

"I apologize, it's nothing personal." Quint spoke as the bats neared his stunned body. Either way, Rioushu was off-balance from Quint's actions, so it'd be somewhat difficult to stop what was coming.

"More clones?" Quint asked the many Rioushu's, her bats aborting their sortie, "Except these seem they can act on their own.."

Squinting her eyes, Quint took a quick mental picture of some of the different Ryu's, assigning each one a number to go along with their weapons. Either she would have to defeat each -- one by one, or hop around and hope to get lucky killing the real prize.

'Just bring it?' She taunted, hoping the real Rioushu would act differently-- a tell, "That's almost as lame as my line...'Nothing personal'.." She mocked herself then, insulting more her lucid side than anything else..

"Our fight has a reason." She found it weird that she almost forcing herself to believe it, "The game is still being played, remember?" Quint grinned with a certain playfulness, "If you aren't there at the finish line, people'll just think you're slow.." Speak softly she did, now calmly getting into a defensive stance, her bats becoming a large tower shield to deflect the many weapons that were sure to come.

Quint sort of slapped herself while creating a chain-sword made up of flame for her steady right hand. Not caring about the situation is one thing, but it's another thing entirely when one doesn't care about their own life by making sure they were prepared. Lesson learned, but it seemed that Quint would be relearning that throughout the fight.
