Twilight opened the door, rubbing her eyes sleepily with a yawn. She looked around when she saw nopony at the door and saw the note. "What's this?" She levitated the note in front of her so she could read it. When she was done, she was blushing slightly and a smile had crawled across her face. "This is so sweet. I wonder who wrote this."

"Thank you so much!" Shadow said happily, giving Amy a quick hug before dashing out the door, heading for his forge. "Hi, Trixie." He said as he passed the unicorn as she was running from Twilight's house.

"Heheh, well that sure was uncharacteristic of him." Applejack laughed lightly to Amy after Shadow had left.

(sorry, kinda time jumping so I could put everything into one post sweatdrop And it's part of Shadow Note's history. He was taken on as Celestia's pupil along side Twilight (which lead to them being fierce rivals) because he showed the ability to use magic even though he was a pegasus (although for reasons yet unknown, since Shadow hasn't told anypony, his ability is severely limited to only minor levitation, a barrier spell, and a few basic communication spells))

"Oh, thank you very much... You really are a charming stallion, aren't you?" Rarity complimented with a giggle and a light blush across her cheeks.

"I hope she gets here soon..." Amoretta said in reference to Twilight, noticing that she and several others that she invited still weren't there yet. She took a deep breath, assuming they were still getting themselves ready before going off to check on the food she still had cooking in the kitchen.

Rarity heard Charming Stallion's words and giggled slightly; "Don't worry, Charming. I don't mind at all." she insisted to him, not wanting him to feel bad for just being himself.

The excitement over Charming Stallion's suggestion made Rarity grin widely as her eyes seemed to sparkle. "That sounds wonderful, Charming. I'd absolutely love to show you my boutique." she told him, though she did feel slightly disappointed that Harmony Charmer wasn't there with them.

"A shame, really. I'd love to show her around, as well." Rarity said, feeling comfortable expressing her disappointment about Harmony not being there. A sudden thought came to her mind that she couldn't help asking Charming about: "... If she really has so many orders, shouldn't someone be helping the poor dear? I know you said it's a family business and all, but still...I can't stand the thought of her working so hard all by herself."

"Poor darling... I know how handling too much at once can affect a pony..." Rarity said worriedly, remembering how much making dresses for her and her friends to go to the Grand Galloping Gala in took out of her; the way Charming spoke, it seemed like his sister went through that kind of thing every day, which Rarity knew she wouldn't be able to handle alone. "... Then again...maybe she doesn't have to do it alone... And maybe I don't, either..." That thought stirred up something inside of her that she couldn't control. Her eyes widened and sparkled as a grin crossed her face, one that anyone who knew her would recognize as her "inspired" face. "Idea!!" she chirped to herself, just as she always did when a really good idea came to her.

"Yes! And it's absolutely brilliant!" Rarity answered, far too excited to contain herself now. She smiled at Charming Stallion, the idea in her mind causing her to bounce slightly due to her excitement. "Charming, how open do you think Harmony would be to...let's say joining forces with me? I can't believe I'm just thinking of this, but she and I would make an absolutely perfect team, and if we were to work together, it might take some pressure off the both of us! Of course, she'd have to give her consent, but I still think it's genius, don't you?" she asked with a bat of her eyelashes to the stallion in front of her.
