Alexander emerged from the stairs about fourty-five minutes later when he went upstairs. He looked around at the scene, sighed, and walked over to a couch in front of the warm fire. He fell into it's comfort and stared into the red and orange flames. I'll wait here until the Head of House comes so I can ask her if I can join the Quidditch team, he thought leaning back into one of the cushions on the couch. He closed his eyes and looked at the celing quietly then back into the flames.

Professor Shinwa entered the common room. "Dusty as always," she
thought: and conjured up a duster with her wand. Then, (like always), she
started to sweep and dust the crimson couches and the musty mantel peices.
Each wave of her maroon duster sent a gush of grey whirl into the air.
Descending down like snow, the dust would eventually settle upon the marble floor.
"I really have to clean out this place more often..." she thought, eyeing
the floating particles, "After the S.P.E.W. group took away most our House
Elves, Hogwarts has given me more chores than my job requires."

Peg came down from the girls' dormitories and sat down in one of the arm-chairs by the fireplace. Once she saw Gryffindor's head of house cleaning she decided to help, "Need any help, Professor?"

She walked in looking for one of her friends and saw none of them where there she then ploped on one of the armchairs next to the fire and opened a book called, Darkest Of The Dark Arts she was fasinated by the dark arts, and loved Defense Agianst Dark Arts, she started reading, and saw a Professor cleaning. "You need help, Professor?"

Maranda stood at the bottom of the stairs to the commonroom.She was fixing the robes she took from another first year."Eww this feels gross...come on..."She said and climbed the stairs.

maranda nodded and spoke the password.The fat lady didn't open the potrait at once so maranda said it more fiercely and fat lady swung open and started to mumble about in greatful children these days.Maranda smirked and walked in with her hand in her pocket holding her wand.

Shimira followed quitely and also had her hand on her wand. She didn't know too many spells but she knew enough to cause enough trouble. 'that was rather easy' she whispered to Miranda, 'not much on the security level.'

"Of course...they don't really plan on the students inside to do anything...come on...we'll start in the girls dorm...since it should be rather easy,"Maranda walked to the steps and followed a girl to the girls dorm.

Maranda came up the stairs and into the dorm.She sneered at the Gryffindors then said in the most fake preppy voice she could.She turned to Shmira and started to jump up and down."Oh my god did you see him?he was so hot...and he's giving out free kisses too!!!!"then Maranda was drowned by the girls screams as they went out.Maranda closed the door and locked it."Ok let's get to buisness...

it took all of Shimira's self control to keep from laughing really really hard. She quickly went into the dorm room and went over to the window. there she started cracking up. ' How did you do that so well?' she asked between gasps of breath.

A Snowy Owl flies through the portrait hole followed by the Professor and he walks into the common room quite to the surprise of a few 1st years gathered there, looking cheated. He ignores them and continues up the steps into the Girls Dormitory as the portrait swing shut.
