Tibarn kept a straight face for only a moment then burst out laughing "oh, thats funny.. ahaha" he held out a hand for Tama to shake " well i can assure you i am not ninja, in fact, you could say i used to be a pirate. my country produces few supplies, and for a very long time relations between beorc and my people were bad so in order to get the supplies we needed, we had to attack thier ships. Pirates without a ship they called us. But not anymore, now our races co-operate willingly, so we no longer need to resort to piracy" he turned a kind smile on Hoshi " not to worry young lady, i do not fight indiscriminately. Your grandmother wanted to test my strength, i complied.

Tama's grin wided as he spoke and she shook his hand enthusiastically "ohmigosh, that is SO awesome. we could be like... pirate boddies and hunt ninja's together and and and and THIS ISGONNABESOMUCHFUN"

he titled his head and smiled down at her " hey, don't get all quiet on me now, it dosent suit you" he said and lifted her head gently with a paw so she was looking at him " Don't look so troubled miss Mari-Mac"

He nodded then sighed " I'm sorry i didn't tell you my title straight off, but it was because i wanted you to talk to me like you would a normal person, not like most talk to a king. I don't really like all the formality, i am only king because no one else is strong enough to take the position from me. As for the rest of it, does it really matter that I'm powerful? It just means i can protect the ones i care about"

Tibarn smiled " i won because i got lucky. If anymore of her attacks had hit my wing I'd have been down for the count." he said unfolding his wing and showing her the singed portion of feathers " I had a little trouble staying airborne at that point. As it is, ill have to stay on the ground until the feathers grow back or risk falling out of the sky" He seemed to take it in good humor though, there was no shame in an injury sustained in honest battle. And it was mild as far as injury's went. Though many of the bird-tribes would disagree, their wings were their pride an joy. He nodded in acknowledgment to Fuega " even if you held back, you were still a worthy opponent. And i have a feeling that if we ever fought in ernest, the outcome would be different"

Tibarn grinned and bowed slightly at Fuega " well i do appreciate that ma'am" he said then turned back to Mari-Mac amd waved his hand " ah don't worry about it, they grow quickly i wont be grounded for too long. though it would certainly be convenient to run into a friend of mine right about now, all his abilities revolve around healing."

Tibarn shook his head " not really, he could be in pheonicis, but there's no way to get there without flying, but hes just as likely to be out wandering the world. Don't fret so much, it wont kill me to walk for a while, i have legs for a reason you know!" he said with a grin " now you said you wanted to see more of the world, is there anywhere in particular you wanted to see?"

Tibarn thought for a moment " well then, we had best get moving! for the moment were grounded so well have to start out by walking, but that's fine because it give us more time to chat" he said and turned away from the valley and started walking at a measured pace
