Tamahome Starlite Niterz... Thats why I wasnt hott on Tara, she was too timid. She lied to Willow about her family, she used magick on the others of fear of them seeing a deamon side that wasnt there. She broke Willows heart. She just did too much for me to like her. OK you can NOT use that example. Her lying about her family? No, that's not fair, you can't use that. Tara thought she was a DEMON. Tara thought the women in her family were demons. Yeah, would you like to spread the word that you were in a family with idiotic, possessive, abusive men that tried to make the women in their family believe they were demons? Would you put it on a billboard? Once again, don't ask the characters to be anything more than human, unless you LIKE Mary Sues.

this is probably gonna be long, so...sorry:
Tara: 1st she's just like me (really) so please don't insult her wink 2nd...She tried to help Willow use less magic but she didn't succeed. Willow even did spells on HER to make her forget everything. Tara realized she wouldn't be able to make her change so she did the only thing she thought would bring some sense back into Willow's head. That's why she left. She thought this way Willow would see what she'd lose if she didn't stop.
Kennedy: How can you say she doesn't love her? Willow hurt her and she sticked with her. Remember when Willow did that spell and took Ken's energy? Kennedy was scared as hell and still stayed. And also when Willow changed into Warren, she tried to help her and even when Willow was pointing a gun at her she didn't back down. She was there when Willow needed her, and in Chosen she was there to make sure everything was ok during the spell. So don't tell me she did that just to be sure they'd have sex. Come on.
Both of them loved Willow. Tara was there for her for a while, then died. Kennedy was the complete opposite and so could have brought out an other side of Will. We just didn't have time to see it 'cuz the show ended.

Though I didnt like Tara personally her storyline with Willow added depth to a show that was all ready amazing. Both in a sense loved Willow. Oz will forever be Willows first love, Tara will be known as her first womenly love, and Kennedy will be known as the one that stayed by her side through everything in Season 7. Anyways back to Tara, lying to everyone. In my view that is a very good argument for me not to like her. I did the same thing with Jenny Calender after I found out she was in on Angels curse. That doesnt mean I dont think she wasnt good for the show. Tara was good for the show, but her and Willow would have never lasted because their relationship was based on a lie. Those will never work.

She knew that the Scoobies weren't, as a general rule, demon-loving people! She was scared of losing Willow, and once again I ask, would you want to tell everyone about a family like that? She was scared of losing Willow, and she was scared of her family!

I understand the reasoning behind it, but She wasnt truthfull with Willow until it came out.

I understand the reasoning behind it, but She wasnt truthfull with Willow until it came out. She told one lie and it condemns her? Lying is bad, but everyone does it at some point. Not liking Tara because she lied once to Willow and the Scoobies is stupid. Surely, if you think Tara wasn't good for Willow with one lie, then you must realize that Willow was even worse for Tara. Willow played with Tara's mind, in a literal sense. That's 10 times worse than Tara lying to Willow because she was scared she'd lose everything that meant anything to her. Using your lying reasoning, Willow shouldn't be good for anyone, as she's kept things from all of her loves. Surely Willow didn't kiss Kennedy and say "Oh, by the by, I killed the man that killed my last girlfriend. I fileted him." There are things that everyone keeps from someone they love. It doesn't make you a horrible person, it makes you human. So, using the "She kept something from Willow, so she's horrible" reason just won't cut it. Tara was perfect for Willow. Of course Tara left when Willow was getting to far in to magic. Would you stay with someone so far gone they'd mess with your memories to make up after a fight, and then mess with your memories again so you'd forget finding out about the first memory switching? Tara did the only thing she could do that wouldn't expand on Willow's problem. What would've happened if Tara stayed with Willow? Willow wouldn't have turned Amy back, wouldn't have met Rac, and wouldn't have gone on the downward spiral that inevitably led to her staying away from Magic. Tara was the best person for Willow, and they would've stayed together, had it not been for that bullet.

Tara was the best person for Willow, and they would've stayed together, had it not been for that bullet. *applauds, throws roses* Im not condeming Tara because of her lying, all I am saying is that all relationships based on lies fall out at one time or another. I am upset at the fact Tara left when she left Willows side. You cant go all what if on me, because who knows what would have happened if Tara stayed. Maybe she gets better, maybe Tara gets dragged into it too deep and goes evil too. There are many situations, you can not place a what if on it. The fact of the matter is, its a relationship based on a lie. Willow never lied to Tara in the begining, though she did mess with her mind, but that was in her deep magick phase. So it was only great for storyline purposes. Even when Willow told Kennedy about her dark side and what she did, Kennedy stayed through her. She was a lot tougher than Tara, mentally and stability wise. Kennedy would have brought out a side of Willow we never saw. She was always with people who were way to lenient. She cheated on Oz and he ended up forgiving her. All in the name of love though. Tara as I say is timid and weak but good to the shows progress. Kennedy never got the chance to show what her and Willow could be due to the shows ending. All in all, there are many scenerios, but its all in someones opinion. Mine goes with Kennedy.
