I study norse mythology and teutonic legends, primarily the Volsung Saga and Gods, so I came across that in one of the books, umm...simply titled Norse Mythology. Its also metioned in the poetic edda

by H.A. Greuber
on another note, in the Gylfangining it also aludes to a unamed day for worship to the...hanged gods foe. If your interested ill give you a list of books about the subject.

nah that's ok, I read enough Norse things as is.
and Wasn't it Ymir who they also payed tribute to on Saturday?
also it's great to have someone else who knows alot about Norse culture in the guild mrgreen

though wasnt he a representation of the moon sometimes... he was also called... aurelgemir. ..i think... sweatdrop mrgreen

yeah that's one of his names, I know him more like "Ymir the creator", ring any bells? also I'm pretty sure he isn't the moon one so what's your favorite myth?

hah! all of them~! umm.... probably the otters ransom myth, but i like the Building of the wall of asgard as well. Then in close second is Thor's Journey to Utgard

Cursed ring, and Thor's Journey to Utgard. Cursed ring gets major points from being the bases for The Lord of the Rings and such but still Thors Journey is amazing so yeah

The cursed ring is the whole story of the ring, instead of just the beginning. But yea, thats an awesome story too
