Reaching the third room, it was normal there were no traps, it was a place for rest but Adalia kept on running her torch flickering , reaching the final door she burst through and saw her son being supported by the other boy walking outside "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SON!" She burst out of the door, they were in a long dead garden from long ago, her eyes nearly dilated as she looked down at the two with mixed shock and fury.

Azaral heard the sound of his mothers voice, trying to speak to her, only causing him to cough up some more blood from his lung. His chin and chest stained with blood, his wounds closed off with ice that seemed to be growing over his body, coating him in a thin layer of ice.

Devanos growled, his mate getting ahead of him. He dropped the torch he was carrying and started moving faster, hearing Adalia's words. His hand moved to the hilt of his sword, getting ready to draw the blade and attack anything near his son. His expression was the same he wore for battle, bloodthirsty and ready to kill.

Aericel couldn't think of anything to say. What could he say? His eyes just showed the need for help. He didn't care if the Alphas killed him or if he was left here to rot; he just wanted Azaral treated immediately. He felt the ice spread and enforced his will onto the ice forcing it back into their places. He didn't have the time to think about why it was happening. He marched forward toward Adalia, "He needs help! He has a punctured lung; he needs a healer." Aericel spoke out to her hoping she would understand to be upset later and help Azaral out of here first.

Cynthia heard her Alpha's scream and rushed forward as her and her guards launched themselves out of the third room. Her eyes fell upon the two boys and she heard Aericel's words toward Adalia. She examined over Azaral and she noticed his wounds sealed. Aericel was a smart kid, but coming here must have been his biggest mistake. Her guards waited on Cynthia's orders, hands upon the hilts of their blades, but it was up to the Alphas to decide what to do.

Adalia Stared at her son, and placed her hands upon his ice covered wounds, his skin glowed green under her touch.
"The ice was a good touch but to much freezing can cause damage too and kill the cells around the wound making it worse. He wasn't healed but the wounds would stay cool and closed. " Cynthia I want that boy kept under watch bring him with us, guards make a stretcher." She watched as they selected two strong saplings and felled them, using their tunics they tied them between the poles and carried it over, they carefully laid the prince on the tunics then picked in up.
"Once were back at the palace I would like the full story from you boy."
She stared at Aericel and decidedly turned her back on him as the remainder of the guards surrounded the group and headed out , she kept her eyes on her son. "Don't talk save your strength I will leave your father to you once you are properly healed, I am angry but do not worry for your friend, he will be punished for sure as you will be, you are both still young and have much to learn."

Cynthia simply gave a nod to her Mistress and then turned her attention to Aericel. Eyes glaring with rage all her own. "Come." Aericel nodded in silence and followed after Cynthia as they walked behind the group. To say the least she was disappointed; she expected this kind of behavior from Arlen. Cynthia wondered about what Aericel thought he was doing going into the ruins. Aericel followed behind quietly, knowing that everyone was upset, but in a way he was happy that everyone came when they did. He was disappointed in himself knowing that he allowed the Prince to get injured. Cynthia looked back at him and sighed in annoyance at the expression he gave off.

Azaral wheezed as he lay on the stretcher, his eyes slowly closing a bit. He glanced towards his father, seeing the anger in the older males eyes. "F..f..fath...er.." He coughed out, not having ever seen his father that mad. He tried to say something more but was too weakened, his eyes closing as he passed out.

Devanos growled as he watched Aericel walking away, turning and walking out of sight of his son, punching a wall to try keep his son from seeing his rage. As his fist connected with the wall, a loud snapping sound could be heard, though he didn't pay it heed. He was trying to keep from losing control and attacking the young male whom had been found with his son, only because he wanted his son to see a leader keep a level head and not be controlled by rage. After a few minutes he walked back over, standing beside Adalia, his arm hanging limply beside him.

For all appearances Adailia had kept a cool appearance but inside her anger was no less than her mates, intensified even because he was so close to her through their soul binding they shared everything, she even felt a dull ache in her own arm. Turning her back on the procession she looked at the ruins, she intended to burn off some of her anger releasing her passion she jumped the forest floor her tail erect her fur bristling she voiced a sonorous howl that was nearly a bellowing roar, through the ground all around the ruins glowing green vines of her power crackled through the land, the ruins were being enveloped by near impenetrable plant life. even as she turned her back the plants continued to grow, she walked to her mates side and stayed by him as they walked back to the palace.

Cynthia kept close watch on Aericel as they all returned to the palace in a quick pace. Azaral was put in the hands of the more then capable healers who began working on his wounds and punctured lung. Devanos went with his son to watch over him during the time the healers worked to mend his wounds. One of the healers spoted Devanos's broken hand and wrist and also began tending to his injuries while the others worked on Azaral. Aericel was put in a room with Cynthia to watch over him. Her glare was one that struck fear into him. She felt her Mistress approaching from the halls to begin the questioning.

The door slammed open and was quickly shut, in fewer than three strides Adalia was on Aericel having jumped on him and pinned him to the floor, her eyes furious she back handed him.
"How could you two be so stupid?! He is your prince, why didn't you talk him out of going to the ruins?!"
She slammed her fists into the ground on either side of his head and snarled before she stood up and looked at Cynthia.
"Your boy has made a very poor first impression with me Cynthia."
She looked back at Aericel and walked to him offering her hand so he could get up from the floor.
"Sit and explain yourself."

Aericel took the hit knowing that he deserved a lot more then that. The taste of blood filled his mouth. He took the offered hand and sat. Cynthia simply watched not having anything to say at the moment. After absorbing the shock Aericel spoke, "The Prince invited me to go to the ruins with him, and he explained to me that his father forbade it. I suggested that it was possibly a bad idea to go if the Alpha forbade to explore there, but I knew it wouldn't change his mind. He was caught up in the excitement. I went there because I knew if I didn't he probably still would've went on his own. And if he got hurt... the way he did now without anyone to try and keep him alive then..." He couldn't finish the sentence although Cynthia already knew what he wanted to say. The Prince would have died. "I was foolish. I know that, but I was trying to protect him from harm. I failed at that, but at least I was able to keep him alive long enough until you all showed up. I'm grateful to him because he risked his own life to save mine, although it should have been the other way around." He looked down knowing that it should have been him to get hit by those spikes. "I'm sorry...I should have persuaded him to stay away from the ruins. The fault is mine to take, not his."

Adalia listened to his answer, her eyes cold fury.
"You both could have been seriously hurt, worse than Azaral was, there are ancient beings that live in those ruins, you are lucky they only decided to play with you both with their spike traps. I am very disappointed in you both."
Her temper was now somewhat abated.
"I can understand how you were torn and I can see why my son would be arrogant enough to try and take on the ruins, it would seem to me he was trying to impress a handsome young stranger."
She said with a sly smirk.

Aericel listened to the Alpha speak and when she had finished he blushed slightly and looked down at the floor again. First Arlen and now the Alpha? Does he really...? Cynthia watched Aericel attentively. Her features softened slight but it did not she was any less upset. Aericel knew he was going to hear it from her later.

"Cynthia I trust you know best what to do with him, I need to check on my son."
She gave the boy one last stare and left the room, this time she didn't slam the door as she headed to the infirmary.

Cynthia simply nodded and watched as her Mistress left. Aericel's eyes met Cynthia's. Her glare seemed to pierce through him before her fist hardened into crystalline and slammed hard against the wall causing a boom that made him jump. "When Lady Alexis decides to start training you again you report to her with no distractions. When she dismisses you. You are to report straight to me." Her words were swift, fierce, and clear. "If you dare stray from either of our sights without consulting me their will be consciences." Aericel nodded. Her features softened, "I appreciate you aiding the Prince, Aericel, however it was not your job to do so. If his guards are incapable of doing their jobs then they will be executed and we can find replacements. We can't afford to allow the future of the Pack to be lost over foolishness, and I'm not just talking about the Prince. You as well Aericel are a future warrior of this Pack. I would hate to see struck down before you had a chance to prove yourself because it just meant I was wasting my time." She relaxed and her crystalline began to fade into sparkling dust. "Follow." She turned for the door to escort him back to his room. Aericel followed behind her swiftly.

Azaral lay on the bed, resting from the ordeal. He had woken up enough to hear some of the commotion from around, knowing it was brought on by him. He had wanted some fun, something risky that would excite him but now he had been hurt, and his new friend was probably getting beaten for it. He heard his mother enter the infirmary, trying to sit up and look at her.

Devan growled a bit, the healers having dragged him off to tend to his arm, stopping him from tearing into the young male that had been with his son. Failing to get at the boy, Devan shifted his attention to dealing with the guards meant to watch Azaral.
