So against all better knowing in, I decided to go battle Team Galactic at Spear Tower.
And I've been really lucky too. During the dual battle of Jupiter and Mars Leto almost died (hp red!) but I could switch her out in time. Isis and Diane got yellow hp too. Even though I got healed before Cyrus, he still almost killed Hepheastus. confused
But I managed to beat all 3 of them. Still, I face another problem. I HAVE to battle Dialga now and he's like 5 levels higher... And has major nasty moves. I have two choices: Catch him fast with a master ball and take no risk but thus lose the awesome ball of awesomeness or attempt to weaken him and catch him with normal balls, thus risking losing my whole team.
...Lose my whole team for just one Pokemon? Yeah right. I think my choice is made. xP Screw legendaries, I still want to beat the E4.

Nuzlockes are fun. I started one for SoulSilver a few days ago and I'm pretty proud of it so far. I made these restrictions though.
-Only 3 Pokemon are to be used throughout the game -The three must be a starter set (Kanto, Johto, etc.) -HM slaves cannot enter battle -Legendaries must be caught -All Unknown must be caught with one kind of Pokeball in alphabetical order
Obviously, the basic two rules apply. I thought this was a strange set of rules, but I did it anyway.

The last rule sounds like a headache incoming. @_@ Starters are pretty strong so you have a good chance of getting through the game. I thought about having 1 or 2 HM slaves myself but I can't stand the idea of having two worthless Pokemon with me.

I don't even know all of the letters to begin with. XD And oddly enough, I chose the Sinnoh starters. I already have 6 badges and they're all evolved. I may have cheated the challenge with these three alone.

Also, are you playing on a ROM or DS? And what are their names? :3

I dislike giving Pokemon nicknames, especially starters. sweatdrop

Working on going through Emerald to get that Houndour. I find it completely retarded that I only have two badges and my only pokémon is a LV 29 Breloom. Well, besides the Abra that I caught in Granite Cave and the Tentacool that I caught on Route 106 that turned out to be useless because it couldn't learn Flash... Oh well, time to get Mr. Briney to sail me to Slateport City. That is if I don't stay in Dewford and train. I don't know if I want to bother fighting Magikarps for EVs, though. If only I had an Exp. Share...oh, wait, Mr. Stone will give me that now that I've delivered the letter to Steven. That means heading back to Rustboro City...
*is not good at rushing through Pokémon games* This might take awhile... confused
GL getting your eighth badge and beating the E4.

Sometime last week I started my first Nuzlocke round on my old copy of Yellow. There have been no casualties (yet), but I'm about to fight my way through Mt. Moon so I have a feeling that might change. Here's my party so far:
Davey (Pikachu) Alexis (Mankey) Simon (Butterfree) Mark (Spearow) Cora (Zubat)
I'm not that creative when it comes to names, as you can see sweatdrop

I also suck at rushing through games. Especially the older ones always had a gazillion requirements for moving on. And thanks. biggrin I need to GRIND before I face Volkner or I'll end up hating myself.

I just had my first casualty last night. Mark, my Spearow, got killed by a Team Rocket Grunt's Rattata crying He still had over 20 HP left and the Rattata was almost at zero so I thought he would be able to make it one more turn, but the Rattata went first with a quick attack that was a critical hit. I feel like I could have saved him if I was more careful...
Other than that, Mt. Moon wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I decided not to battle any wild Pokemon so my party would be ready for any random trainer battles. I also stocked up on A LOT of potions beforehand to keep them all in good health.
Now to catch a new party member on Route 4 and get ready for the next gym...
EDIT: Also, I'm stealing your idea of putting my Nuzlocke status in my signature. I hope you don't mind

Steal away, fellow Nuzlockers. biggrin
I'm 13.5 hours into Emerald with 5 badges. I would say that's not bad, considering it took me (or would have took me) sixty hours to complete it the first time through. I only have two fully trained pokémon, though: Kadabra and Breloom. They're both EVed trained and over-leveled. Breloom pretty much singlehandedly took out Norman's entire gym without taking even a scratch of damage. xd
It looks like I need to buy a GBA link cable, though. The cable I have in a universal link cable which only supports trade between GB/GBC games. It's a good thing I tried "testing" it to evolve my Kadabra before I beat all of Emerald and got the Houndour for FireRed.

Poor Mark! D= W`nnabe It looks like I need to buy a GBA link cable, though. That sucks. I wonder why they make it so hard to trade Pokemon between games sometimes. Also your signature links to the general journal link. So can't see your status.
