"That so." Blair said. "Believe it or not but these animals have seen some strange things. For some reason stuff like that doesn't bother them. I'm not sure why exactly. Or maybe they can sense the pain from your past. Come one, let's let the horses out into the pasture. I can't remember the last time I had them out there." She walked over to the back of the barn and opened the gate. "All you have to do is open the stalls. They'll find their way out. Let's take a break for now."

[Derek nodded and opened the stalls and moved to the side. "is there any other chores you wish for me to do blair" he said then looked out to the forest and then back down. he kept his hands in his pockets while the horses moved

Derek looked at her "i don't mind really, i have been over worked a lot. most times i don't go to sleep until midnight after i get all the chores done with out a break"

"That's not good for you." Blair said. "You need to take a break. Things are different for you now." She smiled and walked back to the house.

Derek followed blair inside"i know, but its goiing to take me some time to get used to this new life really" he said as he laughed a bit

Derek looked at her curiously a bit "how long did it normally take you to do all these? and did you bring someone new to the house"

"I wouldn't get into bed until about 2 in the morning and that's with breaks." Blair said. "Actually to tell you the truth I've been living alone for a few years now. Your one of the first people I've had here in a long time."

Derek looked at her suprised "wow thats a lot. but if it took you that much time then should have went and bought a slave earlier" he said

"I didn't mind at all. It kept my mind off things." Blair said taking off one of her gloves revealing a huge scar about the same length. "This is what happened the last time someone stayed here."

Derek looked at the scar and then back at her "Who did this to you. i will go and find that person and make them pay"

Derek looked at her "but...alright i won't" he said then looked down. He knew when not to argue with his mistress and then turned around "i'll go and start on the other chores"

"I'll be in my room if you need me." Blair said pulling her glove back on. "You don't have to do anymore." She looked down and walked upstairs into her room. 'Maybe I shouldn't have shown him the scar. I know your trying to look out for me but I just don't want you getting hurt because of me.'
