 "I don't believe I know the definition to 'nice' anymore. Nor 'trust' nor 'happiness'. I won't find anything good in this school." Arcanum's voice grew sour, so he just shut up. He walked up to a guitar that was next to him. He heard Kittie and snorted. "I'm sure there are pleeentyy of pricks in this school. Just watch and wait."

She rolled her eyes. "Maybe so, but there are also plenty of good people. I'm sure you'll find love, and no one will have to hear you whine about how you 'dont know the deffinition of a good life'." She said, not meaning to be rude. "What I'm saying is, if you want to look for good, you have to look hard, and you're not looking hard enough." She told him with a smile on her face.

 Mila rolled her blue eyes at the goodiegoodie. Hearing the door slam she smiled and hopped over the counter,"Leon~" She sang.  Leon smiled bringing her lunch,"You see popular today." Leon turned hearing the other guy,"Dude not cool."

"Excuse me?" she asked the boy. "I dont recall saying you ever NEEDED love, i'm just saying most people who come here eventually get it. And I'm with Lolene on this one. Arcanum stared at Kittie, and thoughts of his father came into his head. He looked down at all the scars and burns on his arms, and a lump grew in his throat. He said in a small voice, "We are... So don't waste your lives on us..." He walked out, having lost his voice now, and punched the wall on his way out, damaging the wall, and shattering his knuckles.

Kittie smiled toward Lolene and watched the boy walk away. "Wait! Monsieur!" She called after him. She followed him out to explain. "I didn't mean it... I didn't know it would hurt you so much..." She said walking with him and looking down.

A knot grew inside Arcanum's stomach. "You said it. It's out there, and can't be taken back. I deserved it, anyways. Don't sweat it." His tone was blank, and his emotions boiling. Blood dripped from his hand.

Leon watched Mila leave on lunch break,"Hiya I- Dude!" Leon took the kind wrist in his hand,"The boss isn't going to be happy." He sighed "Do you need a ride to he hospital?"
