Serenity giggles, a bit relieved that Makoto was up for sneaking a quick bite. She then smiles sweetly at Hotaru as they follow Jupiter, "It's not so much an order Princess, but a request that you join us. Makoto, you're the greatest." It was only minutes later that they were quietly walking through the kitchens stopping now and then to sample a different treat.

Michiru half smiles at their comments, "We can only wait and see what happens. Although, you're probably right about it being boring. I mean really... does anything exciting ever happen at this things?" The last time she was invited to the Moon Palace was when Princess Serenity was born. It was then when Queen Selenity informed them that the Princess would quickly grow to be the same age as the Inner Planetary Princesses.

Makoto closed her eyes a moment after sampling one of the pastries. "Mother really outdid herself today. We really shouldn't eat them all though." Despite her weak attempt to stay 'strict', Makoto was really enjoying this. She hadn't snuck into her mother's goodies since she was very small, and was usually helping.

Serenity giggles at Hotaru's enthusiasm. She was right these were the best desserts she had had in a long time. She also knew tht Makoto was right. They need to save room for all the other yummy food. Nodding as she answers"Mm you're right she definately outdid herself. We better go quickly before she comes back and finds us here."

Hotaru smiled then gasped hearing something.
"Oh no! They're going to call me soon! I must go, excuse me."
Hotaru turned and ran, hiking her skirts up. She hurried allong the hallways and arrived shortly. She composed herself, feeling a bit winded. She heard a new set of voices and turned and saw Michiru, Haruka and another princess. A lump grew in her throat and she turned hoping they didn't reconize her or see her. She wanted at least the moon family's protection....before meeting them.

Makoto watched Hotaru run from the room. "Yeah, we need to go Serenity." She lead the Princess from the kitchens, knowing that they still needed to be ready for their entrances even if they still had a few minutes to wait.

Haruka looked over just in time to see a small girl dressed in purple hurry up to the waiting area. She figured it was Princess Hotaru, but didn't say anything. She just waited anxiously for their announcement. Maemei was shifting a bit impatiently as well.

This was Princess Celeste's first time ever being to the Moon Palace, let alone this solar system. It was only every couple hundred years that anyone from her home made it out this far. She felt a little out of place not knowing where anything was.
She was a bit nervous and hoped that the people here were friendly. From what she had heard the Moon family was the most generous that her Kingdom had ever met. The only reason she was here by herself was due to some unforseen business that her parents were called upon. It was up to her to make sure there was good relations between the two Kingdoms.
Being a little lost Celeste wanders the halls looking for the ballroom. Her floor length cobalt blue dress flows around her as her steps quicken. Speaking softly to herself she hopes that she isn't too late for all of the introductions, "Mother would not pleased if I missed everything...ooh I wonder if I'm going the right way." She lightly taps her cheek with her index finger. A few moments later she sees a younger girl dressed in a dark violet gown hurrying down the hall so she decides to follow her.

Serenity follows Makoto from the kitchens. She knew it would be time for them to appear soon. As nervous as she was, she was also excited to be meeting so many new people. The future of the universe seemed to be hanging on the Moon Kingdom's relation to all of the other planets. It was a huge resposibility for such a reluctant princess.
The closer they get to the ballroom she takes a deep breath. Her introduction was only moments away. She turns to Makoto to make sure she doesn't have any sign of dessert showing, "I don't have any chocolate on my face do I? I don't want to give our secret away you know." She giggles but then stops when she sees several girls waiting outside of the Ballroom doors. Ooh, they must be the outer princesses...

Michiru closes her eyes for a moment as she waits for their names to be called. She could hear Maemei's dress rustling as she continued shifting. Opening her eyes again she too notices the small girl in purple. Since Haruka hasn't mentioned anything about it she decides to let it go for now. Afterall, they weren't here to cause trouble at least not today.

Hotaru noticed that they had saw her but didn't say anything. She let out a sigh of relief and relaxed. She looked around and saw a new face. Decided to help the stressed looking girl she walked over.
"Hello, I'm Princess Hotaru of Saturn, It's a pleasure to meet you."

Celeste's golden eyes light up as she smiles at the young princess, "It is a pleasure for me as well. I'm Princess Celeste, of a kingdom ... located in the Taurus system. Is this the correct way to the ballroom?"

Makoto checked Serenity's face. "You look fine." Her eyes wandered along the same path Serenity's had gone and noticed the three girls off to one side. None of them looked especially pleased to be here, all to different degrees. One in black satin seemed ready to walk out, while the tall blonde merely looked uncomfortable. "Sugoi.." They all looked so elegant, no matter their attitudes. ******* Maemei watched the young Princess Hotaru introduce herself to another princess that she did not know. As her bluegrey eyes scanned the waiting area, she let a soft explicitive out of her delicate mouth. "Too many faces here." Haruka sighed and brushed a loose hair out of her face in annoyance. "Chill, Mim."Just then, from inside the ballroom, the announcer's voice boomed, "Please welcome Princess Michiru of Neptune and Princess Haruka of Uranus."

Serenity was happy to know that there wasn't a trace of food on her. She knew her mother would have her hide if she knew. Her attention is drawn over to the other princesses once again at Makoto's comment. She agrees with her friend. "Mmhm...such perfect princesses. I don't think I will ever be that Elegant. Ohh they are going in.. it must almost be time to start."

Michiru smiles over at Haruka, "Well, here we go. Are you ready to wow the crowd?" She giggles softly trying to relieve her nervousness. Together with Princess Uranus she enters through the doors.

Hotaru smiled at Celeste. "You look about as nervous as I feel. I suppose we'll be called in next."
Hotaru watched Uranus and Neptune going in. She wondered where Pluto was, and if she would be coming. Turning her gaze toward Serenity and Makoto, she smiled at them.
"Presenting Princess Hotaru of Saturn."
Hotaru smiled at Celeste. "I guess that's me. I'll see you inside and don't worry, Princess Serenity and Makoto are very nice."
Hotaru walked into the ball room gracefully. She saw people staring at her and knew some of the things they were thinking. She put on a smile and went over and cursied to Queen Serenity, then she went and stood a bit away.

Haruka smiled slightly at Michiru, then returned her face to her usual expressionless stare that she habitually wore at all formal events. She and Michiru bowed in unison when they reached Queen Selenity just as Princess Hotaru was announced. ******* "Calm down, Serenity. You know we'll be announced last most likely," Makoto tried to soothe her Princess' nerves. "We'll just do our best to be elegant as well."
