Sheldon nodded. "Ah yes, German food. Quite good, with a jug of beer." He laughed at his little joke. "Though, then I was in Berlin. I think I'll have the Zucchinisuppe und Pumpernickeltoast mit Kräuterquark." Sheldon said, using the German name for it. This was a soup filled with Zucchini. He had no idea what else was in it. He was more Quite delicious actually. "One day, if you are ever in Russia, I would treat you to some russian food. Best served in the cold weather however. It seems that Japan, while having beautiful temperature, is still quite warmer then what Russian foods would be used to." He nodded for a moment. "However, don't get me wrong, the food here is great, very beautiful. I'd like to compare it to the beautiful Japanese people living here." He exclaimed, looking around and smiling. He raised his glass in toast like he always did before food was served, and turned to Konoka and Setsuna. "To the friends we make, new and old. Please, let's not forget loves and the warmth that appear together when others are near." He was now facing Masato and Gilly. "And most of all, if the world is cruel enough to send us away, may we leave with a smile on our faces, knowing that our we lived life to the fullest." He commented, his normal speech. "Amen." He then turned to Setsuna and Konoka. "Have you two decided what you want to order?" He asked, "Not that I'm trying to pressure you... not at all!" He commented, raising his hands to emphasize his intentions. He then noticed that Konoka was too busy petting Masato to seem to want to order. He smiled slightly, his pale lips shining in the light. He, on general, was pale, though, so it probably didn't show out in general.

'Beer? Just how old is this guy!' Gilly thought, thinking Sheldon was some sort of party animal, filled with a desire to drink and party like there was no tomorrow.
"I've never had Russian food before, what is it like?" Gilly inquired, immersed in the conversation now. Anything to do with food was intriguing to Gilly, naturally. Listening to Sheldon's speech, Gilly raised her class as well, and grinned. "Cheers, Happler-kun! Do you always give a speech when food is near?" Gilly grinned, amused at Sheldon's sudden speech, but he seemed like a friendly guy to give such a touching and formal speech at an informal, casual dinner.

Hearing Ian's voice behind her, Gilly jumped a little, her shoulders tensing up from the sudden appearance of a person behind her, her instincts kicking in. But as she swiveled around in her chair, Gilly's alert eyes softened as she spotted her beloved beau. "Ian!" Gilly exclaimed, letting go of Masato for once, and standing up to greet Ian with a big bear hug. "I was getting worried! Good thing you're okay though..." Gilly whispered in his ear, and tugged on his hand. "Sit down, sit down. We're having dinner. You should really get a better phone, y'know. I bet grandpa would hook you up with a spiffy one like mine." Gilly grinned, calling back her so useful Magic Encyclopedia app she'd obtained from her grandfather.

Setsuna blinked. "Merrigan-san, you made it." He seemed okay. Which was enough for her, since it was as she expected. "Everything all right though? We haven't seen you around for nearly teh whole day, and George-san accidentally got himself drunk on cooking wine." Setsuna explained with a sweatdropped. "Didyou happen to check on him on your way to the dorm?" She said before making her own order. She wasn't sure what to get, so she got a simple salad side with whatever not so horribly expensive dish she could find, and ordered water.

Masato rubbed his fur against Gilly as she pulled playfully at the corner of his mouth, revealing his teeth before letting go and jokingly saying her allowance didn't account for foxes eating large amounts of foreign food. Masato chuckled silently and swished his tail back around his legs. Yggdrasil's fall promo made everything affordable, although once prices went back up to their usual levels, eating there would be a weekly or maybe monthly thing for them. Still, it would be something to look forward to and he was glad he got his friends to come there while prices were still good. Plus, there was still one day left on their fall promo, which made things even better. Masato then heard Sheldon make his speech at the table and raised a paw as Gilly said "cheers" right before Ian suddenly came in. Perfect timing.

Masato was actually worried about Ian for a while and swished his tail happily at his presence. It was a shame he had to remain silent in public places, but it was something Masato understood had to be done. "Normal" foxes didn't speak and him speaking would reveal the existence of magic and magical creatures, spelling disaster for his crew and maybe much of Mahora. However, nearly the whole crew along with some new friends were there and everyone seemed quite upbeat and lively. Masato literally smiled like a fox with his tail wrapped around his legs while everyone greeted each other and waited for their orders to come.

Konoka grinned. "Really!" She asked looking at them. "They do look like a cute couple. I wish I was dating someone. But I have you right, Set-chan?" She turned to Setsuna with her puppy eyes set to kill. She was messing with Setsuna right now, but she knew how Setsuna overreacted to everything she did. Made the reactions worth it. Even if Setsuna got a bit rough in the mean time.

It's the most uncomfortable feeling when another girl readily glomps one's significant other, especially so suddenly. Taken aback by Konoka's powerful glomping force, Gilly eyed her warily, even if she was a good friend of Setsuna and Ian, Gilly was, and what girl wouldn't be, cautious of Konoka's warm embrace to her beloved.

Opening her mouth to inform Konoka that Ian was certainly not single, Setsuna beat her to it, and Gilly nodded in confirmation, pinching Ian's cheek. "Yup, we're going out. I like Ian. A lot." Gilly smiled at her boyfriend, well aware he was blushing. 'Wait...from what? Konoka-chan's hug, or her cute couple comment?' Gilly thought, squeezing Ian's cheek harder. 'Boys. They blush too much.'

Letting go of Ian momentarily, and going back to playing with Masato, Gilly leaned her cheek on his furry head, as if a silent apology for his constricted communication skills. Originally, it was intended for Setsuna to tag along, and Masato could at least talk, but in the presence of Konoka and Sheldon, Masato couldn't utter a single word. "Tomorrow, we'll go to a great food stand for breakfast, and you can talk all you want, Masa-kun. You've still got to tell me about the magical world, y'know." Gilly reminded him, quietly murmuring in Masato's ear, before she sat back up in her chair, and waited for her food to come, enjoying the vibrant scene and enticing conversation the group of students had.

Masato didn't mind not being able to speak in public, so long as he was with Gilly and company and he closed his eyes in a foxlike grin and twitched his ears when Gilly rubbed her face against the top of his head. He also nodded as Gilly whispered in his ear, agreeing to her plan as well as to tell her all she wanted to know about the Magic World. He then felt Gilly's fingers stroking and scratching lightly at his fur again and Masato purred like a cat (foxes have a very wide vocal range and can purr too) as she did so.

Masato the fox plushie...if Gilly and Konoka thought he was "plushie" now, they should see him in the winter. It was then that he grew a soft and dense undercoat made to keep water, frost, snow, and the winter chill out and his fur almost became pure-white rather than silver. However, the tips of his paws remained black while the tips and edges of his ears remained grey. His winter coat was already beginning to grow and would be complete well before the first snows fell. That wasn't very long from now.

Masato leaned against Gilly as she petted him, swishing his tail happily until he felt Konoka's hand stroking his fur as well. He then heard Konoka ask if she could hold him for a minute and one of Masato's mercurial eyes opened and shifted towards the girl. He really felt no malice from Konoka and her last statement made it clear that she understood the dangers of "squee." For that, he'd let her hold and pet him if Gilly said it was alright...at least until Konoka's order arrived. =)

"Oof!" Gilly yelped in surprise, certainly not expecting to be glomped by Konoka. Taking a small step back to maintain her balance, Gilly could barely breath as the taller girl smothered her, and gasped for air as soon as Konoka let go of her embrace. 'Formidable!' Gilly thought to herself, recovering from the unexpected assault. 'I'm very sure if she ever got into a fight, she'd probably win with that attack! Sheesh!'

Straightening her beret that was cast askew from Konoka's attack, Gilly heard Konoka's request, and chuckled a little, glancing at Masato. He seemed happy, and he looked fine with it. It wasn't like Masato was growling and nipping at the girl, so Gilly shrugged her shoulders. "Ah, Konoka-chan, it's really not up to me. Masa-kun's a free man, er, fox." Gilly corrected herself. "It's a little presumptuous of me to speak on his behalf, but I think he'd be okay with it." She finished speaking, and gave a quick, gentle swat to Masato's behind, to usher him to Konoka's side.

Gilly blushed a little, grasping Ian's hand and giving him a quick squeeze. She'd missed him whenever she had to go away to New York for vacation in Mahora. "I hope your master sees that. Oh! I've still got to find some outfit to greet Zoreken-sama in...we should go shopping sometime, Konoka-chan, Setsuna-san!" Gilly said, inspired and eager to spend some girl time with the cute "couple". Plus, they were an interesting bunch, and Gilly needed a girl's perspective on clothes, not a guy's. Ian would probably say anything would do.

Just now, the waiter arrived, carrying everyone's orders, setting them on the table. Noticing Ian arrived, the waiter set down a menu for him, and then went off to take care of another table.
