"What class are you in, Wolfram-kun?" Gilly asked. There was a possibility that Axel could be years older than Gilly and Ian. A sempai! "Where did you attend school before Mahora?" She added, but regretted it. What if Axel was really a bad, bad boy, and he had been expelled for lighting a teacher on fire! Then again, the boy didn't look too naughty. There was a good chance he wasn't an arsonist.

Remembering last's years events, Gilly began to worry, and it showed on her face. 'If that white-haired rat comes back for the book, wouldn't it mean that he'd go after Ian? Ian's strong, but what if...' Gilly thought, imagining William sneaking into Ian's dorm, and killing him and his roommates. 'No! I can't think that. I have to have faith in Ian. He'd never let that happen. But what if it did...? Damn those demons! They're a disgrace. I can't imagine losing Ian...' Gilly's hand, which was still on Ian's arm, clenched tightly to the boy.

Axel hesitated. "Um, actually, I didn't attend school before Mahora. I studied at home." He said. His protection program Eishun helped him start under made him hesitate to attend school. The only reason why Mahora seemed like a good place was because Eishun said that Dean Konoe would be more forgiving and helping when it comes to Axel's 'problem.' "I think I'm in 2-B, actually, in physcial education." He noticed Gilly thinking to herself again. She seemed upset over something.

Setsuna stared at Gilly. "Um, Yamashita-san..." She said, wondering if she was even getting Gilly's attention.

Raine saw Mihora's discomfort. See that? They're all teh same, afraid of you, later she'll want nothing to do with you, I bet. As much as that comment hurt, Raine bit back another retort. "I'm fine...sorry." She muttered.

"Where did you-" Gilly cut her sentence off right there, noticing Setsuna's stare. 'I'm being too intrusive. Even Sakurazaki-san is staring daggers at me.' Gilly thought to herself. 'I think she's going to tell me off...I shouldn't be so nosy! I'm so stupid!' Gilly added in her thoughts, and dropped her sentence, her eyes ashamed of herself. So much for a good impression!

"No, no, I'm being too intrusive!" Gilly blurted out, the shame still evident in her eyes. All her facial expressions showed guilt and shame for being so nosy, but there was still that worry underneath all that. That worry that William might strike back, and hurt Ian. That worry that William would take away Ian, her only link, her chain to Mahora. The only thing that made her proud to be half-demon.

"cya Raine" Mihora waves Raine of then looks at her watch I should get going she throught to herself quickly grabbing her items and walk to dorm area.


{Dorm #8}

It had been two months since Masato, or "Shiro-kun," as a local middle-schooler who somehow spotted him and tried feeding him only for him to steal her entire bento box called him, breached the magical barrier and arrived in Mahora. A cool wind blew over the tips of his ears and his fur as he chowed down on the contents of said bento box deep within the foliage of a park in the academy grounds. He was a large white fox, an expert food thief, and an unwanted guest who avoided detection surprisingly well despite his distinctive appearance and color.

Western mages, guilds, and other arcane organizations turned rogue members and those who failed irrevocably in their duties into ermines, but the Koga ninja clan turned their members into foxes before casting them away...if they weren't hunted down and killed like animals (no pun intended) afterwards. He was lucky enough to escape and not be turned into a scarf or a hat. Tuna, rice, cucumbers, eggs...all went down really well as he finished the last contents of the bento box. That would tide him over until noontime. There would be plenty of food to steal then and he was too proud to settle for scraps.

((Gilly had a mental breakdown and got all nervous because she can't quit imagining losing Ian to William. Now she thinks she's being too intrusive because she's all nervous, adn Setsuna and Axel are both hoping Ian calms his girlfriend down...))

Masato licked his paws and the area around his mouth before leaving the empty disposable bento box behind. The humans around here all had money and the loss of a single meal wouldn't hurt them or cause them to starve. Some of them even had pets...the spoiled creatures that they were...so well-fed with roofs over their heads and warm beds. He, on the other hand, didn't have a single cent to his name, not to mention foxes didn't carry money, which made getting food without stealing problematic.

A foot patrol from the Mahora Animal Control Service came trampling through the bushes shortly after he left. Apparently, the girl he stole the bento box from reported him, and his activities attracted their attention once again. But they were notoriously inept and Masato laughed inwardly as he disappeared swiftly through foliage without leaving a trace or making a sound. He'd have to stay clear of the park near the academy and Chao Bao Zi for a while, but Mahora was big and there were plenty of places people gathered to eat.
