Tamiko stared out of the bus window on her way to Ouran the next day.
"If only I didn't live outside Tokyo," she thought, trying to keep her eyes open, "Then I wouldn't have to wake up so early to get to school."
The sky outside the window was grey and morose. It reflected her mood as she mulled over what had happened that morning...
When she had woken up the first thing she had noticed was that the house, which was usually bustling with activity even in the small hours of the morning, was eerily quiet.
Pulling on a robe she had stumbled downstairs to find her mother
sitting alone at the kitchen table, drinking tea.
"Good morning Mama," Tamiko said, hoping to get some sort of a reaction, "Is breakfast ready?"
"No."
Taken aback at the shortness of her answer, Tamiko stood stupidly in the doorway.
"Don't stare dear, you know it makes people nervous." her mother said.
This was even worse then her being short. Now she was being funny.
"Oh, okay" she mumbled, "well I better get ready for school."
She was about to leave, but she turned back in the doorway.
"And don't worry about making anything, I'm not hungry."
She waited for some sign of acknowledgement.
But her mother didn't seem to hear.

In class, Tamiko was preoccupied and made stupid mistakes.
"Well," she thought, coming out from history class, "So far I've succeeded in making my history, math and literature teachers think I'm a complete idiot, now I've only got to convince my physics and biology teachers of the fact."
It was amazing how teachers somehow sensed when a student really didn't want to be asked a (stupid) question.
At lunch Tamiko recalled what had happened yesterday in the hedge-maze (it was a great day for this sort of thing).
Before Loreil had left, Kyouya had said something to her. Tamiko hadn't been able to hear what it was, but it obviously meant something to Loreil, for she had frozen for a second, as if someone had pushed a "pause" button on her remote.
"I'll have to ask her about it later," she said, shrugging to herself.
The two boys at the next table stopped talking and gave her an odd look.
"Ooooookay. Class weirdo defines herself once again." she muttered, as she left the table to find someplace quieter.
The two boys looked at each other and giggled under their breaths.

"Loreil, you need to fix this. Everything is going haywire, it's not how it's meant to be."
Loreil blinked, fighting back tears. "What do you mean?"
"Your friends--they all are having problems not meant to be."
She closed her eyes. "Stop going all psycic on me when you're dying! It happens every time! And how am I supposed to know how to solve their problems? That's not my job!"
"Lore... the same person that did everything to you is beginning to do the same to them."
She froze. "Valkery..."
"Yes. And I can't help you this time."
She shook her head. "No, you're not going to die! I won't let you!"
The young girl smiled softly. "I'll see you around... big sister."
"... A... Anjess...? No... please don't! DON'T LEAVE!"
She jerked awake, gasping. Scrambling, she yanked her clothes on and ran outside that house, not knowing or caring where she was going.
Why... why did she have to do that? She's already dead... why is she making me fix everything?
She stopped where she was and dropped to her knees.
"But I already knew the answer... I was her big sister, I'd fix anything for her... And what she wants now is for my happiness... But that's selfish, isn't it? But it's also for her... I'm so confused!" She wailed, tears flowing down her face.
As if on cue, rain began to fall.
"Great! Just great!" she shouted to the sky as the thunder sounded. "What did I do to deserve this? Live?!?!"
She looked back at her hands. "Why?"
Her voice was soft, broken. "Why am I always the one reaching my neck out for others, only to get hurt because of it? And even then... I can't fix everyone's problems..."
She stayed like that for a long time, but eventually, she got up.
"If Anjess asked it... The only thing to do is to try."
She raised her head, squinting against the rain. "First-things first; find Valkery. I'm not going to let her ruin anyone else's life. Not like she did mine."
She pulled out her phone, checked the time. 2:30 A.M. She put it away.
She took off for the place she'd been once before, but this time she wasn't going to let herself be beaten up. She had a reason now.
I can do this... if I can't, I'm not worthy of calling myself a friend.
She didn't notice the person who crept out of the bushes after her, high-quality camera and microphone in hand.
"I know that you hate me fore what I did... but I'll help you any way I can. Even if by something so simple as this."
He smiled a little. "Who knows, maybe this is all that's needed."

The ring on Swaya's finger felt heavy with doubt. Ken had been there all her life, btu she never loved him, even when Tamaki tore himself apart cause of his grief. Swaya had know that Ken had led the attack on Kris and knew it hurt Tamaki. " Guess he was just too late." Ken whispered through her hair. " Just like he was to late his litte sis." " What did you just say!?" Tamaki demaned." You led that attack! Your the reason why Kris has her condition! YOU BASTERD!" He lundged at Ken feeling nothing but hatred towards him. He through the punch hitting Ken in the face." Your gonna mess up my face!" Ken tried to hit back but missed. " That's what I thought. YOUR A SELF CENTERED JERK!" Tamaki yelled.  " Swaya, watch out." Ken got up from the second punch." This could get ugly!" " No you don't!" Tamaki said, pushing him down again." It's over, Ken!" " And I don't want this ring." Swaya through the ring on the ground." I'm with Tamaki." " And I'm with you." He smiled and leaned forward. " I wouldn't have it any other way." She smiled and leaned forward,too. Tamaki surprized her with a kiss. " Come on." He held out his hand." Let's go." " Hm." Swaya took it and they ran out into the rain. ***** " J.R?" Tamaki opened the door. " She's sleeping." J.R said." Come in, you'll let the heat out." " How is she?" Swaya shifted uneasilyas she watched Kris's ragged breathing rise and fall from her side. " Doc say she needs to stay warm for the night, then when she goes home she'll be fine." Tamaki sighed with releif." Only thing is she can't have to much stress on her. So she'd have to stay in the music room where you guys do the host club thing. She can't do schoolwork unless she thinks she can handle it." " That's hard." Swaya commented." She's a striaght A student, she reads all the time, and if this thing with her stress level having to be down,could effect her grades badly." " It's okay. I can to schoolwork,but I can't do it under classroom pressure." Kris said weakly. " You okay?" J.R was right by her side as soon as he heard her speak. " Yeah, I'm fine." She got the contorls for bed position and inclined it up so she could sit up." I'm just weak from blood loss." " Well as long as your okay, that's all that matters to us." Swaya smiled. ************ " It feels good to be outside." Kris breathed in." But I have to go right back in." She stared irmly at the winding staircase leading to music room # 3. " Your not one to talk. Your relaxing while we're learning." J.R teased. " Where's brother? He seems to watch me from a distance now." Kris looked around. She was still so weak, but she could walk at least. " He's with Swaya. Like always." J.R said flatly. " Oh." They walked slowly up the stairs , scince Kris had broken her leg when she fell down the same day she had her breathing problem brought to her brothers atenttion. It was quiet in the music room. " Here. lay down." J.R helped her down." I'll be back at lunch with your schoolwork." " Okay." She held his hand a second longer." I love you." " Love you,too." Loreil smiled grimly. Last henchman, taken down. She headed for Valkery.
"You've gotten stronger. I assume that you found out?" the woman smiled.
"Well, there has to be two to play chess," Loreil responded. She did not like how Valkery knew how to manipulate people.
Apparently, there'd been many. Ken, Tamiko's parents, and The Pack had been but a few.
Valkery was about to say something when Loreil lunged and punched her in the jaw. The woman was knocked out immediately.
"Hmph," Loreil dusted off her hands. "So weak. But... I still have to have some serious talks with some people."
She pulled out a pair of handcuffs from her jeans and fastened Valkery's wrists to a chair. A big, heavy one.
She opened up the woman's computer and scanned her emails. She found Tamiko's address and checked her watch. It was the start of the school day.
She felt bad about going around her friend's back, but she had to. She didn't know exactly why, but she felt that it'd be better if she remained unidentified in case this ever got out.
I feel like a government spy, she thought wryly as she pulled up her hood and exited the building.

tamaki knew swaya was heart broken but he could not move. he watched her leave.
the next day tamaki walked in to school hoping to see swaya but did not see her. tamaki was called to the office. tamaki this is for you.

when you get this it means i am no longer here. i am sorry but i can't be with you if it means being second in the heart. i hope you find a wonderful girl how love you and is willing to be second in your life. my dream is going well. this is the last time we will ever talk and i hope your sister is ok. i hope we can be friends still even those this happened.

" Swaya's gone?" J.R asked.
* Brother?* Kris butt in to her brother and J.R's thoughts. * Did- Did Swaya leave?*
" Yeah. She's gone, out of my life." Tamaki's depression was more than enough stress on her.
* I didn't want her to leave.* Kris bit her lip.* I told you not to put me first. You let her go again. That was a mistake. God only gives you 1 chance to love, but he gave you 2, because of what we been through and what's ahead of us.*
" Kris I don't mean to but it's nautral." Tamaki replied.
* Maybe I could pull Swaya's mind into the thought circle.* She tried, reaching out to America and back.* Swaya, hear me out. I know you don't want to talk to my Brother, it's only me. He's always loved you, he always will. I want you to look into your heart , who is first? Who is second? Is brother first or second?*
She waited for the reply from Swaya. * Tamaki is first. He always will be.*

" Tamaki, she's fine! Now stop asking me!" Kris said, angered.
" Okay. I won't ask again." Tamaki looked down at his sister, who straighting his tie for the caseano cosplay. He felt bad that she had a broken leg and under stress watch. He sat down with Kris and J.R on his left.
" J-J, your tie is crooked." She smiled and truned to fix it. J.R pulled something out of his pocket and whispered something to her. She nodded and he slipped it on her finger. * Well, she's got someone she knows he won't leave.*

3 months pasted since swaya and yu left. swaya moved forward never looking back and she never thought of tamaki ones. tamaki was in pain for losing her but he knew he had to move on so he did what a host should do. he made every lady laugh. one day at tamaki house he turned on the tv to see what saw on and he saw swaya. so swaya i hear you have a new boyfriend and he is also your new partner.that right his name is roy. i met him when i was on the road. he kind and he is sweet.well just don't sit there bring him in.roy walks in to the studio.  hello. hi honey.hi baby.swaya and roy kiss. our new song is a hit.we worked hard and now it done. the song is called sexy love.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLKSJI_lV-I

Loreil sat staring at the TV, eyes wide.
No, Swaya! You're making a mistake! Roy is...
She picked up the phone, knowing that this wasn't being broadcasted live.
"Swaya?"
"Hello, Loreil! It's been a while!" the singer replied. "How are you?"
"Fine. Swaya, you have to get Roy away from you. He's bad news."
"W-what? What are you talking about?"
"He's just going to hurt you, Swaya. Believe me, I've seen him do it so many times."
"You know him? Wait... you're just jealous, aren't you? He dumped you, and now you're trying to take him away!" Her voice was filled with anger.
"No! He's my brother, I would know!"
There was silence from the other end of the line.
"Loreil... I-I don't... I don't believe you." Her voice said different, though.
Swaya hung up, but Loreil knew that she'd at least be watching Roy for anything suggesting that this was the truth.
She sighed. She should have known that her brother was in with Valkery.
She texted Tamiko, asking if she could message everyone involved to meet in the music room in an hour.

She looked around. Tamaki was standing--but barely--and looked half-dead with loss.
Kris was looking very close, with worry, and a boy was right behind her, supporting her.
Tamiko hadn't been able to make it, but the other Host Club members were there.
"What did you want to talk about?" Kris asked.
Loreil sighed. "Swaya's new boyfriend. My brother."
Tamaki's head shot up, eyes burning. She acted like she didn't notice.
"I called Swaya to tell her about him... but she didn't believe me."
"What about him?"
"If she doesn't leave him soon, he's going to hurt her--badly."

Tamaki hung up the phone. He thought of how things could have been.
" Brother, your thinkign of her again." Kris was heming up Tamaki's unifrorm. He had ripped it at the seem being to careless.
" I was not." He lied.
" I can here your thoughts you know." She said.
" We know it hurts, but just stop. You only hurt yourself more when you think of her. It hurts us." Tamaki stared at J.R. His wisedom made him seem much older than he is. Then he looked at her sister. It had been 3 months scince J.R's proposle. She seemed more clam, more wise, and she had the pre-wedding glow.
" There. Go out there and make those girls happy." Kris walked out with J.R on her right and Tamaki on her left. Instead of standing there with the rest of the host club, she went to sit down in a chair in Tamaki's section. * There's something different about today.* Kris thought.
A girl came in " Welcome."
" Oh I was just looking for a quiet place to study." She said.
" That's Haruhi Foujioka, a student with a scholorship." Kyouya informed anyone that didn't know.
" Haru-chan!" Hunny sang.
" Who you calling Haru- chan!" She yelled.
" Who know the new student could be so openly gay." Tamaki said.
* Brother your pushing it.* Tamaki ignored her as he went through the types they had in the host club.
" We welcome you poorman to our world of beauty!" Kris heard a crash.
" How many thousands are in a million? How many thousands are in a million?" Haruhi asked herself.
* Brother I don't think that's a man.* Kris was shut out again. Well if she was to get her brothers attention, she had to come out from her hidding place." Hello."
" Huh?" Haruhi turned in her direction.
" Don't mind my brother." She walked towards Tamski and J.R." If I startled you, I'm verry sorry."
" You startle anyone the way you've been acting." Hikaru and Kaoru said.
" Forgive me then." Kris been more like J.R than Tamaki and with the wedding drawing near she had melowed down a whole lot.
" Who are you?" Haruhi asked." Where did you come from?"
" I'm Kris Suh and I came from over there." She pointed to the chair she had been sitting."Brother gets to be a handful sometimes. Let me know when he does. He only listens to me."
" Will do." Haruhi was thinking* She's a complete 180 of her brother. Even though they're twins.*
" J.R?" Kris asked trying to keep her breathing even.
" Yes." The boy next to her looked concerned.
" It's happening again." She said more frantic. Haruhi saw her breathing was ragged and she had leaned over, breathiing through her month in gasps of air.
" Kris, not again." Tamaki had clamed down and was concerned as well. " Kyouya."
" Okay, Kris." Kyouya was right in front of her as he told her what to do." Breath in. Good, now, breath out."
" What's wrong with her?" Haruhi looked at Kris, then at those around her.
" She sruffers from a breathing problem." Kaoru explained.
"And lately, it's been getting wrose. They've tried the inhaler, but Kris's boby rejects the medicine that it provides." Hikaru finished.
" It's okay now, love." J.R cooed." Your alright, now. Just think about the wedding. In 3 days we'll be married."
" Right." Kris got up and leaned on J.R." It will be something to look forward to."

After getting Loreil's text Tamiko saw Honey making his way to music room 3.
"Hey there Honey!" she called.
Damn! She had to stop talking to him like he was a five-year-old.
For God's sake, he was older than her!
"Oh hi, Tami-chan!" he waved, threading his way through the throng in the hallway, "Is everything okay? You look a little tired."
"I'm fine, thanks," she replied, "But listen. Loreil just sent me a text. She wants us all to meet in the music room, but it's getting
late and I want to get home early today." Tamiko brushed an agitated hand through her hair. "Could I ask you to round everyone up?"
"Sure Tami-chan!" he replied, giving her a big smile, "I'll take care of it!"
"Thanks Honey-sempai!" she called after him.

Getting off the bus Tamiko pulled the jacket of her uniform closer around her. A cold wind had started up out of nowhere.
The bus station was some way from her house and she still had some way to go.
As she walked, the light rapidly got dimmer and dimmer as clouds amassed themselves in front of the setting sun.
"It had so better not rain." She'd hardly voiced the thought before it started pelting.
Pulling off her pack and holding it above her head she continued walking. Normally she would have ducked into some store or other till the worst of it was over, but not today. Something had
been eating away at the back of her mind all day and she couldn't get home fast enough.
Looking down an ally, Tamiko remembered that it was a short-cut and decided to take it. Despite the rain she smiled. She and Anselm had explored the entire neighborhood together when they where younger, running about the streets like a couple of feral cats.
She missed him.
The realization came as such a shock that she stopped in her tracks. That was when she noticed that hers weren't the only footsteps to sound in the rain.
Looking quickly back over her shoulder, Tamiko stared into the darkness behind her. She suddenly wished she hadn't decided to take a short-cut down a deserted ally.
"Stay calm Tamiko," she said as she quickened her pace, "It's probably just your imagination. Then again, maybe it isn't."
Tamiko glanced again into the ally behind her, but she could make nothing out the mixture of night, rain and soggy tendrils
of hair that combined to obscure her vision.
A garbage can clattered onto the road behind her and somewhere in her mind Tamiko stepped over the line dividing composure and panic.
Running blindly down the ally, Tamiko stumbled over bottles and pieces of old furniture, too terrified to stop.
At last she was at her gate. Pushing it open, she ran up the short path and burst into the kitchen.
"Hello?!" she called, when she'd noticed it was empty, "Mum? Dad? Where are you?"
Calmer now she walked through the house, room-by-room.
It was empty.

" Brother! Swaya's back!" Kris ran into the classroom." That dumb Roy died, may he rest in rest, so Swaya came back! She's in the music room!" " Slow down." Tamaki laughed." What happen? Who's back? Don't strain yourself. I pertty sure my nefew kicked you the whole way." " Yes he did." Kris patted her showing stoumach." Roy died and Swaya. Yes, Swaya's back!" " That's good." Tamaki smiled. " Go get her! Put her first, not me! I have someone for that!" She pushed her brother out the door." Go! Go! Go!" " Slow down." He pushed the opisite way." I haven't been putting you first scince Swaya left." " Well, go tell her! Go tell her!" She jumped. " Clam down, okay." Tamaki putt his hand on her forhead to stop her jumping." He's not very comfotable with you jumping around all the time." " Oh." Kris expression of happiness changed to concerned." Are you okay?" * I'm fine. just dizzy. Be careful, mom.* He thought. All though he wasn't born yet, he could still think to them with real words. " Kris." J.R walked up. " Hi, J.R." She smiled her clueless smile. xd " Your so enterjetic." He smiled clamly." But you need to settle down, love." " Oh, but that not impossible." She looked up at him." I'm just one of the guys." Scince the married couple came back from the honymoon, she had been so full of life. During the engagment she had been so calm. " That's what I thought you would say." stare He muttered. " Heard Swaya's back." J.R changed the topic." I just stop by the music room to say hi. She said she wanted to see Kris." " Oh, then let's go." Kris pulled on Tamaki's and J.R's hand. They got to the music room before even knowing. Kris ran into the window of the music room." Ow!" She rubbed her face. " That's what you get for babbling too much." Her husband seemed so cold to Kris. " I know." Kris put her smile back on. J.R smiled back. That was his way of showing love. " Hello?" Kris knocked then poked her head inside. " Hi, Kris." Swaya smiled. " You wanted to see me?" Kris asked. " Yes, why wouldn't I want to see one of my besties." Swaya answered. " Geuss what!?" Kris instantly cuaght the mood. " What?" Swaya looked at her and wondered why she hadn't come in yet. " I'm....." She opened the door all the way and sqeauled happily," I'm pregnuaght!" " Omg, Congrates!"
