Concentrating, Phoenix wielded darkness into her hands, and threw it at her mother. As the energy left her, she felt a bit weaker. She tried to see if the darkness had hit its target, but she couldn't tell. All she saw was the darkness dissipating into the air. "Urgh!" She screamed, frustrated. "What the--- nuggets! I can't hit her!"

As Hecate's children were being confused on where their target was the Earth shook and started to part between her three children. "All you have to do is concentrate children!" Hecate yell still unable to be seen by them.

Phoenix frowned and remembered her mothers words: "All you need is a little bit of lightning..."
She hurried to Alexa and grabbed Heie along the way. "Sooo.. you guys," she whispered, "I think we need a way to put the lightning into the darkness. I think Heie and I can make pure darkness into our hands, and Alexa, can you mix your lightning into the darkness? Then with Alexa carrying that, she can hit the lightning into different spots with both types of magic in it. It's sure to hit Hecate."

Hecate's voice appeared behind them saying. "Well done Phoenix but are you sure that is the right way to fight against another light?" When Hecate finished talking a huge photon orb comes flying out to them.

As the orb hurled toward Phoenix and her siblings, she panicked and let her Darkness surround them. Her eyes shut tight as she braced herself for the blow, and she was right to do so. The impact sent her shaking, but she held tight. But soon enough, her concentration dwindled, and her strength broke. The shield shattered and the orb hit her. As she stood up, Phoenix ran to her older brother and sister for help. "Heie.. Alexa.." She said weakly, "I'm sorry, but I didn't know what to do... and... and..." She tried to recover breath, and as soon as it was better, the fire in her eyes returned. "By the gods, that was fun!" She grinned then said, "Let's try again!"

"That's good Phoenix! The best way of learning is to have fun with it!" Hecate's voice yelled out excitedly. "But you must keep on guard at all times my dears." When Hecate said that a smaller photon orbs came out aiming towards the children. With fireballs chasing behind them.

Phoenix, more prepared this time, flexed her Darkness shield and pushed it out toward the fire and photon balls. The Darkness pushed back the attack for a time, enabling Phoenix to make smaller shields for her siblings.

Alexa nodded and let her lightning merge with the darkness. She made little orbs that came to together and threw it at her mother. The power took over her and lightning flashed. Sh fell to the ground. She didn't know what happened, she jjst knew she felt way weaker now.

Hecate tried to parry the orb by jumping out of the way but it had seared her leg. She then came to the ground falling on her chest. When she felt the impact her darkness had disappeared and she was now visible. "Very good children." Hecate said as she sat up.

Alexa used what little strength she had to get up. "Thanks," she said to her mother. She shook her head and said,"What happened? I don't remember what happened after Phoenix used her darkness..." She rubbed her eyes and looked around.

Phoenix looked at her older sister admiringly. "Alexa... I made the darkness but you put your lightning in it!" She looked down and frowned then continued, "But... hm. I remember the blinding light, but.. but, I can't recall if it hit anything. I hoped it did." She looked around and saw her mother sitting on the ground, very much visible. She grinned then said, "Well apparently it hit something all right. Are you okay, mother?"

"배설물! 쓰레기! "Alexa yelled."Sorry for the cursing in Korean,Mom.Just a little worried,"she said in her quiet voice.She walked over to her mother and knelt down."Like Phoenix said,are you alright?"she asked.

Phoenix giggled and said, "Heie it's all over... unless you're scared... that I might beat you!" She jokingly made a ball of darkness and shot it at his shield. After wards, she enveloped herself in darkness. She wasn't completely invisible, but she was translucent at most. "Come and catch me Heie!" She called out to him.

Hecate got up but flinched a little bit at the pain but she walked as though she felt nothing. "Well I'd best be on my way now children...don't start anymore trouble!"
