Jacx is often wearing a pair of sunglasses to reduce the amount of light his eyes taken in. This is because without the shades limiting his light absorption the strain on his eyes will lead to them becoming bloodshot (As they do as he fights). If he eyes are not giving the chance to rest, the bloodshot eyes will become damage and the blood will begin to fog his vision.

In short the cancer is is breaking down his body slowly.

In order to survive the cancer, Jacx took an experimental treatment that has led his body to rapidly overproduce Stem cells, cell capable of dividing and differentiating into a diverse collection of specialized cells. Capable of regenerating body tissue including nerves and muscles, organs, skin and intestinal, and even aid in blood management the "healing factor" becomes a counter response to the flesh breaking cancer virus.

Jacx's body is in constant deconstruction and reconstruction, putting him through a mild degree of pain that he has found himself needing to ignore. The end result however leads to a body that is very adaptive, being stems cells can alter into neither any cell. This means Jacx's isn't completely limited to a single appearance or muscles structure. Capable of body alteration and mutation Jacx is capable of mimicking the body required to perform his copy cat techniques.
