Spike relaxed maybe just a little. He still felt a little suspicious, but not about Ace, from something else he can't quite place. "What brings you here Ace?"
Violet saw the door. It wasn't too far away. She slowly inched twoards it, hoping not to cause so much pain from Ray's abuse.

Adam kept his emotions in check. "Axel, I never said that I didn't plan on going back did I, I want to help them just as much as you, but we can't just run in there blindly, it would get us killed. You need to heal, and then we need a plan and some better weapons, then we can go back for the others."
