"...Oh. I guess so. But you have a daughter, isn't she sort of..." Goosie trailed off as she watched him.

She craned her neck when he was done, intrigued by the jewel.

Goosie looked surprised by the gesture, slowly reaching over and taking it.

"Thanks..." She said, hoisting herself back into a sitting position.

She put on the necklace after a brief struggle, then lifted the jewel and stared down at it, running her thumb over it's surface.

Goosie looked up at him, smiling a little.

"I guess I may as well," She said, letting go of the pendant to lean back on her hands and look at him.

It was weird seeing him in human form, she thought. Weirder still that he seemed self-conscious about not having one normally. She'd always thought he liked being a dragon and liked being scary and threatening to eat people. Didn't he see humans as food?

She tilted her head, finally gazing off past him.

Goosie listened to him, a faint trace of a frown forming. Evijan wasn't exactly her favorite person, but he seemed unhappy, so she tried to comfort him with an "I'm sure she's fine, I mean, she's probably off...being Evijan somewhere."

Then she began to wonder about what he meant. She looked back at him again.

"Do you feel bad for her because she's half human...or because she's half, um...you?"

"Hmm...I guess." Goosie commented, deciding not to say that she felt with Evijan's charming personality, she probably wouldn't fit in regardless of what she was.

The girl lay back again, getting momentarily lost in thought. She lifted up her necklace and fumbled with it, bending one knee as she stared at the jewel and turned it over in her fingers. Koth was being awfully...un-Kothlike. At least the one she'd started to get to know. She almost felt for him, and that was strange. Well, outside of the weird at easedness she got from being around him. That had quickly become a given for her. Now she was beginning to wonder if she could really hate him.

Goosie turned her head to look at him again, "If you don't like being the way you are, how come you don't stay looking human all the time?"

"I'm sorry," Goosie said, letting go of her necklace again and watching him stand up. She felt tiny laying on the ground with him towering over her, and decided to sit up instead.

She couldn't help but smile quizzically. He certainly leaped across the spectrum a lot. She pushed herself onto her feet, continuing to stare at him while she considered her own form. She hadn't really decided what she'd rather be most of the time. Probably herself, since she had no real clue what she looked like in her DRK form, or as Koth had considered it, her true self. If she looked anything like that, she might pass. There had been something nice about feeling unified with the DRKNRGY, though.

Goosie crossed her arms and closed her eyes, breathing in deep. She was losing track of things, she suddenly realized. Hadn't she done this to find Sam? But where would Sam even be? Here? She opened her eyes, looking around. She didn't even know where to start looking. A day ago, she was sure everything would just fall into place after she got infected...but now, she wasn't even sure what she wanted anymore. Mostly, right now, she wanted to enjoy herself.

Goosie looked kind of uncertain as she gazed from one spot to the other, then back at Koth.

"I dunno...I'm not really much of a fighter." She admitted, feeling rather sheepish telling this to a huge DRKNRGY-imbued dragon.
