Haruko nodded, "Hey Kyoma, lets continue heading forward. Hopefully we'll bump into the others on the way." Reaching into her pouch, Haruko pulled out two small bells. "Hey Kyoma, close your eyes, I want to try out this new technique. She formed several handsigns and began ringing the bells. Sound resounded from the bell and spread out around the room and suddenly they were able to see how the cave looked even thought their eyes were closed. The jutsu that Haruko just used was a echolocation jutsu (think of how bats see) She's using the sound released from the bell to help them nevigate throught the cave.

Kyoma closed her eyes, doing as Haruko suggested. After hearing the sound of bells, she found herself able to see through the cave. "Good. Now we can see better." She began walking ahead and looked back to Haruko, giving her a small smile. "This has been kind of fun, right?"

Haruko nodded, "I guess. Here Kyoma, tie this bell somewhere on your body where you'll be ableto it to keep it ringing by either your movements or by infusing your chakra into it. If the bell stops ringing, this jutsu will end all all we'll see is darkness again.

Kyoma nodded, taking the bell and untying the pink ribbon from her neck. She hooked the bell onto the ribbon and tied it back on her neck, fusing her chakra into both the ribbon and the bell. She picked her head up, her eyes still closed. "Okay."

Without warning the echolocation technique you were using starts to backfire as you here a constant stream of high pitched frequency resound in your ear. all of the signals seemed to be bouncing and amplifying off of the walls, cause a loud screeching in your ears and overwhelming you senses.
Both of you are now in the dark again, and any attempt to use your Kekkai Genkai immediately backfires, as the cave seemingly forces you out of it.

"Ugh!" Kyoma nearly shrieked as a high pitched sound rang in her mind. She held onto her head, as if it would make it go away. "Dang it!" She screamed, ripping the ribbon from her neck and letting the bell fly to the ground next to her.
"I don't think that's going to work, Haru." Kyoma said, still holding onto her head a bit. The high pitched sound still faint in her ears.

"Ah"Haruko screamed as she clutched both hands to her ears. To her extra sensitive ears, the high pitch frequency pained her head much more than it would to others. Once the screeching ended, Haruko was breathing heavily, 'Since this isn't going to work, guess I'll have to stick to my kekkei genkai. It's a risky move but its even more dangerous wondering around in the dark' Forming her hands in the appropriate handsign, she went about activating her kekkei genkai, "Oto Metsuki." As immediatly as her vision changed, she felt her kekkei genkai cancel itself. 'What the? This cave is much more strange then it first appears, it's as if the cave has a mind of its own.'

Hearing Haruko make a frustrating sound Kyoma turned to her. "What's wrong?" She wondered why everything they tried to do wasn't working. What can we do if this cave is what's causing this?

Haruko looked up towards Kyoma's direction once she heard her question, "Seems my kekkei genkai can't be used any longer. There is apparently a force field or something of that sorts that's stopping me from activating it for more than a split second. Seems we'll just have to rely on our senses to get around. Best to keep moving, it isn't too ideal to stay rooted in one spot too long in an unknown place where anything can happen." With that, Haruko began advancing deeper into the cave.

Kyoma quickly followed. "If it's senses we have to go by, then that's good. Saying you have enhanced hearing and I have enhanced smell I could hear well, too, but not as well as you can." She held her right hand by her pouch, ready for anything that might try to attack them.

The second after Haruko and Kyoma made their resolve to move forward, then suddenly hear a noise echo in the hall around them, as if a large component piece suddenly clicked somewhere. Before they even had a chance to turn to each other and ask what the noise was, the floor suddenly dropped out from below them, dropping them onto a steel ramp which spiraled downward. the ramp was slick and smooth, sending the girls toppling over each other until they could gain control, still attached by Haruko's Kusari-gama until they were suddenly dumped off onto the ground, in a dark room as the slide ramp disappeared, leaving them in the dark again, except now they were lying on grass, and not a cave floor.

Haruko sat up and placed a hand on her head, she shook her head a few times to clear away the dizziness. "Argh, what was that? How are you doing Kyoma-chan? You okay?" Haruko turned to face the direction in which Kyoma should be in.

Kyoma made a small groan, pushing herself up right from the ground after landing on her face. "Yeah I'm alright." She said rubbing her forehead before looking towards the direction where Haruko's voice came from. "What the heck happened?" She felt the grass below her as she sat looking around, trying to see through the darkness. "Even here we can't see. It sucks that neither of us has a fire element."

Haruko nodded, "Yeah, but we got to work with what we got. Come on, lets get up from the ground first." Haruko slowly began pushing herself off the ground, she waited a bit for Kyoma to get on her feet before pulling herself to her full height seeing how they were still connected. Standing still, Haruko tried listening for anything that could lead them to the others.

Suddenly, light dawned on the two girls as they found themselves in a forest clearing, the sun shining brightly on a perfect day, as a light breeze filled the area. Strange music could then be heard come from all directions...it was upbeat and repetitive, but catchy. Then, the clearing suddenly began to quake and a large tree erupted from the ground about 50 ft away from the girls. The tree grew arms and legs as it propped itself up, and the trunk split in several places to create a set of menacing eyes and a gaping mouth. The tree stared at the two girls for a few seconds before flailing its arms and branching, letting out a bellowing roar.
A strange thing then occurred as a strange glowing sign appeared above the creature, silver on the outside lining, with a blue inside and white lettering which displayed a set of kanji with the words : "Angry Tree"
Both Haruko and Kyoma suddenly found themselves dragged to their feet...Haruko's kusarigama wrapping itself up and attaching itself to its usually hanging place on Haruko's side. Both of the girls found that they could not move (though they could still speak). Above each of their heads were two bars, a green bar and a blue bar, both of which were completely filled. The green bar had the letter 'HP' to the left of it, while the blue bar had the letters 'MP'. In the middle of the bars, two numbers appeared, each separated by a '/' in both bars, they were the same for both girls : 200/200 in the HP bar, and a 100/100 in the MP bar. Haruko suddenly felt a tingle in her body as she started glowing with a white lining around her, releasing her, and allowing her to move again. As soon as she had gained control of her movements again, a menu similar to the one they saw appear above the tree appeared in front of her with four options on it :
Attack
Magic
Wait
Item
...time seemed to stand still as it waited for Haruko to do something.
