How in the world are you people even getting PAST the monsters? They hit Ryo and me at 243 hit points each. It only takes two-three hits to kill us! WTF?! D:< NOT FAIR........

The wolves I've fought don't. I think there are bosses in the portals, though.
You should say "******** the portals" and suppress to kill nightwalkers in newbie areas. Yes, that is a totally selfless suggestion. biggrin

Huh, I do them solo (with potions) and they hit me for 40 and crit for 100.
I'm still kind of sad that they made zOMG so annoying, though. What's wrong with a fun and easy game that you could also solo? I'm stuck on Ring level 5 and Beach is just too difficult for me .

Sorry about that, forgot about the PPs, can't blame me though, I had just posted that before going to sleep. (gawd I so love having a laptop!! crying heart )
It's probably best to go where the tiny tikkies and PP's are fighting it out and sniping them off for a while until it's not an instant kill for you.

I just hung out on the Boardwalk until I could handle the lower portion of Gold Beach. I thought the Old Aqueduct came after, for some reason.
Anyone else wonder why the vampires attack the animated? I mean, I get the werewolves. They're hungry! And it's especially funny to see them chowing down on fluffs at Bill's Ranch, since it makes me think of a regular wolf making off with a sheep and generally being an agricultural nuisance, but... I don't understand the vamps. Sadism?

Aren't they scaled? Well, either way, I just walk past them. They really only bothered me once. And as far as I've seen, no bosses in portals (Though, again, solo). I do wish I could solo Zomg. I was having fun up through Bill's Ranch, but then I couldn't do much in Dead Man's Pass or Zen Garden, and I don't think I can fight the General Gnomes without a crew, so I usually supress my CL and farm orbs on the ranch after getting my a** handed to me by things in Zen Garden.

Man, I'm glad I leveled up in ZOMG a year ago. Before the rings were soulbound I just shifted them from one mule to another til I got to about CL 7 then put them back on KMKM and solo'd things. Hadn't touched ZOMG in a year, but with this event soloing portals I've gone up to 9.7 in 2 days. It helps I use the angelic ring set though, keep getting orbs or high level rings to salvage.
