Well, I've been discussing my way into the con with a friend of mine. I think we're going to get that hammered down shortly; however, I'm still not sure just how I'm going to get home if orientation hasn't happened by then. sweatdrop I have somebody who's willing to take me home and spend a few days with me and my family, but... They're not sure if they're going to be able to do it.

I know Animazement isn't a huge con, it's nice to see people getting together online. *bounces* I can't wait! I'm feeling the same thing. When Chibi (Ania Calypso) told me there was a guild for Animazment on Gaia, I didn't believe her. *laughs* I'm glad there is though! (Considering last year SUCKED like all major compared to '03, it's amazing people still want to go. xp ) Yeah, I'm psyched still! xd xd xd

Antares Chaos I'm feeling the same thing. When Chibi (Ania Calypso) told me there was a guild for Animazment on Gaia, I didn't believe her. *laughs* I'm glad there is though! (Considering last year SUCKED like all major compared to '03, it's amazing people still want to go. xp ) Yeah, I'm psyched still! xd xd xd I don't know if I thought last year sucked but I was SUPER pissed that they cut anime hell short, I believe because karaoke (sp?) ran long. Generally I stay up so late the night before we leave getting ready that I'm out like a light midway through anime hell. I was thrilled to be awake last year and it ended early. -_- That and the dealer's room was less than fantastic, but whatever. This year we just bought a house so I'll be poor anyway!

Staying awake was a issue for me the first two years. But! Coffee, lots and lots of coffee. French Roast. Just eat it out of the can. *laughs* I never go to the karaoke or anime hell, so I have no idea what you're talking about. ^^;;; I know that the dance sucked because the music was... well, just plain bad. I see no point in going to a Japanimation convention and dancing to anything other than Japanese pop/techno. o_O; But maybe that's just me. And the Dealer's Room disappointed me to no end (an empty table??? WTF? gonk ) ... not to mention the lack of serious cosplayers. crying I mean, I think I saw MAYBE 15 serious cosplayers (not counting my twin and I.) sweatdrop I'm hoping for a better turn out this year. =D

Cosplay was not quite as fun as I remember it being. Then again, I think my group really started with a lousy idea and we weren't willing to admit and try something else.
