I am indeed a chick drummer, and alot of guys say I can own alot of guys around where I am. I guess its cause I play alot of hardcore.. ya know.. double kicks, alot of speed. It took me about.. half a year to pick up my speed... I used to just sit there all day practising aye, I was pretty into it.

well... with the speed, play with your heal up. Go for runs, if your at school or what ever tap your feet under the desk. Then when you have time, tap RLRL with your hands first, then follow the timing with your feet, and LRLR ect. Then with hands, just space out your kit a bit and start off playing slow, then pick up the speed, once you have that all sussed, move your kit closer to each other and you would be playing faster. Another thing is pick up heavy things before you play. OH and REALLY Important STRETCH your muscles!! cause it really sucks if you pull a muscle! I once pulled the hamstring in my leg and kept me off drums for 3 months! and you dont want that happening!!

I've pulled my muscle a few times, I think it's because I do mostly physical subjects and things though. I take dance, P.E and have soccer and stagechallenge after and during lunchtimes. That might be half the reason.

Hm.. well pretty much the same.. cause you would have that good speed in your foot. And play with your heal up xP stretch dont forget.. alot of drummers forget to stretch. Not many do pull their muscles in punk and rock ect but rather be safe then sorry!
