Hali sighed, "I've just been avoiding town... This is my first time back in two months..." she grumbled as she bit into her sandwich. she waited till she swallowed and drank a few sips of wine before finishing, "I just... I don't know. I want people to just leave me be... Y'know, just leave me be... I can't even remember the last time i got to go into town without someone grabbing my... " she blushed and sipped her wine.

Hali grumbled, "Yeah... This is like the third time you've told me this... I realize that i fail at what i do, and i need to find a way to fix it. It's a matter of figuring out how to do it."

she set her wine down and bit into her sandwich, 'Does she like rubbing salt into my wounds... It's like she doesn't think I know I need to change my ways... I am not proud of what I did, and it's pretty clear that it is a touchy topic with me... ' Hali leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, 'I probably deserve it though...'

"It's not that easy..." she grumbled as she finished off her sandwich. The same waitress came back with their food and refilled Hali's wine, "Thanks..." she sighed as she took a sip and started with the salad, "Hope you enjoy your food," Hali added before she shoved a fork full of leaves in her mouth.

Hali set her fork down and gave her a harsh stare, "It's not hard to say it, It's hard for a male to respect it! Hell, I can't tell you how many times i say no, but they just throw me on the ******** bed anyways!" Hali blushed from yelling that so loud. she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, " I'm sorry... But I'm returning home." She set a bag of gold on the table, "This is enough to pay for the meal, tip, and cost to get a ride home..."

Hali left the table and walked out of the cafe with tears streaming down her face. she blew straight through a crowd and made her way to the river that ran threw the middle of the town, and swam home.

Hali passed through one of the archways of the northern bridge and dropped off the waterfall into the large lake like ocean below. there she sank to the bottom and laid in the soft sand to sob her troubles away.

The pregnant beast that cat man had tried to kill swiveled along the bottom of the in land ocean and rested next to Hali, as well as her mate. a couple of fish swirled around above her, and her large water dragon friend laid beside her.

Hali smiled and patted his nose, "Well, I'm glad part of my people still love me..." she snuggled close to the dragon and fell asleep.

however many hours later she awoke to the sound of the waves. she could feel the waves lapping up to her waist and pulling away... it was almost as though the ocean was teasing her with it's warmth... she sat up and shivered.

There was still sun left in the day, and upon scanning the water, she noticed two little nostrils sticking just above the surface. Giggling she pulled herself onto shore and let her body dry in the little bit of sun that was left.

She sat up and noticed the Cat man sitting by the tree again and sighed, "I'll get out of your way... one minute..." she used her tail to set herself up and wrapped a long scarf around her waist and tied it at her side. her tail turned into legs, and she collected her things, "I won't even bother your fishing anymore..."

Just as she began walking away, the little nostrils stuck up out of the water and a mouth shot a little stream of water that hit her in the face. she growled, and looked back at the little ripply rings on the surface of the water. Grumbling, she sat back down on the beach, "Apparently I'm not allowed to leave yet... Sorry to inconvenience you."

She stood up, "Don't bow to me, I'm not worth it..." Hali noticed his ribs and walked over to the water. She let her index and middle finger just touch the surface, and as she stood to her normal height a large strand of water came up with her. She walked over to Cat man and halfheartedly smiled, "I can heal you, but i don't think you want your close to get wet... All i need is for you to reveal your wound to me... so i can bandage it."
