"......" Ritsu was silent the entire time Yomiko told him of the numerous occasions where he had 'mood swings'. He actually seemed to be thinking about it. "Wait..." He mumbled, pulling a small, white bottle out of his pocket. He began to read the small print out load. "May cause: Extreme mood swings, paranoia, and some possible links to personality disorders...."

It was then that Yomiko stopped her ramblings about his mood swings. He seemed to get the point. With a small grin on her face, she shifted herself on the bed, so that her back was facing towards Ritsu. Using her arms as a pillow, she slowly closed her eyes looking as though she was about to fall asleep. When she heard Ritsu read something aloud that sounded like a warning label from a medicine bottle. Slowly, she looked over her shoulder.
"You've been taking pills? I hope you aren't OD'ing." She remarked with a slight smile. "I joke. But seriously, what are those."

"OD'ing...?" Though he was kind of slow at first, he got it within a few seconds. "Yes...overdosing.....wait, NO! I haven't." He sighed at Yomiko's question. "Sleeping pills." He stated simply, not giving an explanation of any sort. He set the small bottle down on the floor beside the futon, and stared up at the ceiling.

"Why do you take sleeping pills? Can't sleep at night?" She asked him. Though most of her questions were spoken in a jokingly manner, this one was not. She was curious. Yomiko, herself, had trouble sleeping for long periods of time due to some traumatic experience from long ago. When she told Ritsu that she had only got one hour of sleep, she wasn't lying. One hour of actual sleeping is all she can get even when the Jade Flower wasn't full. Yomiko let out a exasperated sigh, waiting for Ritsu's answer.

"..." Ritsu said absolutely nothing at first, not wanting to explain to her why he took sleeping pills. But, he also couldn't just not say anything. He had to find some way around the question... When the idea popped into his head, he wasn't sure he could pull it off, but it was better than answering. He rolled over and put both hands down on either side of Yomiko, staring down at her. "I definately won't be able to sleep tonight...." He said with a sly grin, while inside, he cursed himself for sounding like such a pervert...

The silence gave Yomiko the answer. There were things that he obviously didn't want to tell her and there were certain things she didn't want to reveal to him. Yomiko wasn't going to press it, not until the time is right. Just like that, she let the subject go. There was no use in dwelling on it. Shifting herself back into her original position, a soft yawn escaped her lips. This indeed was going to be a long day with Ritsu. Closing her golden orbs, she sighed. It wasn't until she heard Ritsu's voice from above that she opened her eyes. Surely enough, he was above her, grinning slyly. Yomiko cracked a small smile, trying to suppress the blush that wanted to make its' debut on her face.
"Hmm? Why is that?" She asked with an equally sly grin.

Ritsu somehow took that sly grin as a challenge, and whenever he feels that way, he doesn't stop until the other person completely gives up. His grin only widened when she asked a question. To answer her question, he leaned down until his lips met hers.

Yomiko laughed a bit as she noticed his grin widen on his face. It was kind of cute. She caught onto the spark that was shown in his eyes. A mischievous spark. More laughter escaped her lips, but those fits of laughter were soon muffled as Ritsu kissed her. Yomiko wrapped her arms around his neck as she continued to kiss him. She felt like she was going to melt.

Arachne hummed softly to herself, and almost skipped down the hallway in order to meet up with one of her old childhood friends. Merriment obviously illuminated off of her as she neared the office doors. Holy cr*p! She still couldn't believe that she was meeting up with Ritsu again. They hadn't seen each other since they were kids. It was just a miracle for her to spot his name as a captain, and that was when she knew she instantly had to join his squad. But the chances of Ritsu recognizing her was slim. After all, she went from a horrid mess of a tomboy to well, what she was now.
However, she'd been hearing rumors about how the 3rd squad captain was rather anti-social... in the extreme sense. PSH! Yeah right. Ritsu may have been a little shy at times, but he was totally a party goer. Knowing that, Arachne wasn't surprised to see Ritsu be one of the captains, and probably wouldn't be shocked to see him being something like a player surrounded by admirers, male and female. After all, Ritsu did have that strange aura around him...
Arachne's slender hands grasped a hold of the doorknob and twisted it open. At the sight before her, the most of what you could get out of her reaction was a slight raise of an eyebrow. /Woooow, Ritsu. I guess I was right about that player comment earlier.../ She coughed lightly into her hand, as to apologetically indicate she was there. Hey, she didn't want to interrupt these two in the first place, but she did want to join this squad though. She grinned sheepishly at them. "Sorry for breaking you two lovebirds apart, but I would like to join squad 3.

At first, Ritsu didn't notice the person who came in the door, but as soon as he heard the slight cough, he broke the kiss with a gasp. He was definately not expecting a new member to pop in during a moment like that. He practically lept and hid behind the arm of the futon, peering from the side, his face bright red. "Oh..." He mumbled, recognizing Arachne from somewhere. "It's....you? Arachne?" He asked with a slight ammount of shock in his voice. She seemed so different from the last time she saw her; it was a wonder that Ritsu recognized her at all. He glanced wearily over at Yomiko before turning his attention back to the newcomer. "You can join..." He said quietly, still behind the arm of the couch, completely embarassed.

No words can describe how Yomiko was feeling now. Was she embarrassed, not really. In shock, very much so. Shocked because someone had walked in on Ritsu and her kissing. Now, the whole Sereitei might know of thier little relationship with each other. Augh, how she hated people in her business. Yomiko did not make no use to hide, there was no point. She would look more guilty than she was. Propping herself to see the prospective squad member of his squad, she didn't bare no emotion on her face. Instead, she slipped off of the bed and slipped on her Nikes.
As she was doing this, she couldn't help but over hear the tone in Ritsu's voice. He knew her but from where, his academy days or something? To be honest, Yomiko couldn't have cared less about their relationship. The Soshireikan dusted off the imaginary dust that was on her shoulder as she grumbled something foul under her breath. She wasn't going to stay in his office any longer. Getting up from the futon, the woman made her way to the door but not until she stopped beside the girl.
"That was not what you thought it was. If I hear you utter a word about this, I will have my whole Executive Militia on your a**...," Her tone was in a deadly, hushed whisper. "Please, don't tell anyone about this. It wouldn't be worth losing your life to the 2nd Captain, now would it?" A small smile crept on her face. A second later, Yomiko exited out of the office.

Red orbs just blinked dumbly at what happened, or rather the lack of something happening. She couldn't believe it. Ritsu was her best friend from when they were kids, and all she got from him was a mild reaction that told her he didn't really care. Suddenly, her whole cheery mood denigrated. Her vivid eyes stared holes into the ground while her proud posture slumped over in disappointment. Even the bright beams of joy that were earlier radiating from her had dimmed to a black depressing air that threatened to swallow all those who grew near it.
"F*cking d*mn b*stard..." She grumbled to herself, clearly showing how p*ssed she was, yet out loud, she stated, "Okay. Thanks. Sorry for intruding." The short clipped sentences mechanically left her mouth as she turned to leave the place, but she paused when she heard an ominous woman, that was originally snogging Ritsu, hiss out threats about not blabbing to the world about that event. Why on earth would Arachne do that? Although she seemed like the type to do that, she was undoubtedly loyal when it came to secrets. "I won't tell... Anyways, what could I gain from telling people? Just the loss of my life is all..." She sighed and slowly made her way to the door.

Ritsu practically whimpered when Yomiko got up, pulled her shoes on, and headed towards the door. That sadness that was shown clearly on his face was suddenly turned to concern when Yomiko stopped by Arachne and growled something he couldn't quite catch. The moment Yomiko left the office, Ritsu's attention finally turned towards Arachne, who looked disappointed. He had no idea why she felt that way, but he couldn't help but feel guilty. "Aw, don't leave." He sighed, pressing a button on the underside of the futon's arm, causing it to slowly fold back into a couch. "We haven't seen eachother for YEARS and now we finally see eachother again. And, obviously, I missed something because you seem so different from before."

Arachne rolled her eyes and proceeded to cross her arms, huffing out. "Pffft! Of course you missed something that was obviously so important in my life, but instead of talking about the good old times, shouldn't you be going after your girlfriend?" The tall girl then strode over behind the third captain and light shoved him behind, trying to make him tail the other woman. "Oh, and before you go, do you have any hot guys in your squad?" A devious smirk crossed her face as she asked that.

When Arachne tried to shove him lightly from behind, he quickly ducked out of the way. He knew they had probably spent enough time together for the day and she probably had some work to do, so he let Yomiko go. But, the main reason he didn't run to catch up to her was because he had a brand new member and he didn't want her to get lost by herself. Ritsu stared blankly at Arachne. What? Did she think he was gay or something? "...The only other member in the squad is my vice Naka...but....." He mumbled awkwardly.
